    Well, I got my permit today took a little more than a year to get. Now I need to buy a pistol within 60 days to get the actural permit. Thinking of looking at a Taurus Tracker 992 revolver in 22 l.r. & 22 mag for a starter gun. Any thoughts? (Don't know why the print is small)

    My buddies mother would make a stew out of the young ones & it was great. When we would hunt them she always said "leave the big old ones & be sure to bring home the little ones"! All they eat is grass & clover. She roasted a racoon once it was ok but very greasey. She was from Tenn. said both were reg. meals when she was a kid. I would eat the chuck stew but pass on the coon.

    A friend of mine uses them & loves them, he claims they shoot better from a more open choke imp. cyl. or mod. says that is why they were made.

    I started mine over a year ago here in Erie co. & still don,t have it. I just e-mailed them to see if theres been any progress on it. A friend started his after me & already got it back in 8 months.

    Same problem as Josephmrtn is having .. I lost all picturers Can,t see Fasteddies new lawn sign or the geese keep coming pics. or any old pics. that I had . What needs to be done ?? Thanks

    If I want to give my 10 yr old grandson my 50 yr old Red Rider BB gun do we both need a background check? I do know he was caught with his hand in the cookie jar & taking money out of his piggy bank a few times! He cannot be trusted! (stupid a$$ laws)

    According to the Buffalo News today the first arrest for the sale (set up) of an "assault- style" weapon was made to an undercover state police officer. The 32 yr. old sold 2 weapons to the officer in Chautauqua co. NY. An AR-15,299 rounds of ammo.& 6 large cap. magazines. Also an Ar-10 & 21 rounds of ammo. The guy is a Iraq War veteran.

    I beleive when they raised the fees back a few yrs. ago sportsmens clubs & some people were all for it because the monies were to go back into the conservation fund for fishing & hunting projects, ie. docks, launches, pheasant rearring, etc.. But as we all know that didn't happen or very little did. Now there is $40 million in the fund that NYS wants to take a loan from that is the BS here! Now the sports clubs want the money back & want the fees lowered because the state screwed us again & the plan didn't work as expected! I am all for it.

    Well in Erie co. all our taxes go to NYC. welfare . There is talk of splitting N.Y into 2 states making Westchester co & NYC its own state . works for me! I said that 30 yrs. ago. I beleive our (rural) end of the state which King Andy refers to us as would be much better off. A local state Rep. is taking a survey to see how many people would be for it. He has my vote.
