    Back in the old days dogs running deer were shot on the spot. I never did but know guys that did. Now days you can go to jail for it. A guy here (WNY) just shot a german sheperd that came at him & is up on charges now. Stupid imo.

    I have always said let the so called "experts" on the TV shows come to NY and hunt like we do & see how they do. They (TX) hunt out of box blinds over bait & take 300 yd. shots . They spread the bait & wait for the deer to walk into the lane. Basicly target practice imo. the deer don't know anyone is there, no hunting involved.

    Good luck there, NYC is like a different country with all their stupid gun laws! They should be their own state & give the rest of us a break instead of screwing all of us! jmho.

    I beleive it is illegal to have any part of any deer unless it has a tag on it. I also think I read it on the Dec. web site in the fine print there.

    Erie co. Myself & my son in law just got ours after a 16 mo. wait & his buddy is still waiting for his just as long! I was just in the permit Dept. to reg. my first pistol & saw the judge that signs the permits & he has to be 85yrs.+ old, he proabaly forgets what he is there for! lol.

    I was told ONLY the back tag can be in the tag holder on your back. Nothing else not even the carcass tags or they can write you up.

    Always wanted to put a bag of fish guts under the seat of my a-hole foreman's car seat at work on a nice July day but he kept the car doors locked. dam!
