I here ya, that's actually where I saw the two little bucks a couple weeks apart half eatin... Gonna try the Alabama swamps n then maybe head over that way...

Anyone out there Huntin yotes on public land with any success... Killed quite a few bobcats n yotes in the swamp down in Florida, just curious if it's worth it up here on state land... Don't see why it wouldn't be, saw two little bucks half devowered during bow only a day or so old ... Gonna give her a wirl anywho ...

Tell me about it, im in tonawanda n we've got well over a foot so far n it's only 2 am with no signs of stopping till about 2 tomorrow... Hell went into a movie at 3pm and came out at 5:30 and the parking lot was covered, haha.. Tis the season

that's the first thing i thought of after gettin back to the truck last night! i get asked all the time if you had to only hunt one species of game for the rest of your life what would it be? well dam it i can't give you an answer on that! lol.... nothin like a struttin tom gobblin his head off in front of you, give's me palpatations ! but then again there's nothing like flingin an arrow at a whitetail, which i'll give you dam near a heart attack.... i choose both haha... how many more days till that thunder hits you in the chest in the early morning? can't wait....

Tried my damdest to stay out this eavening, but with temps @ 34 and rain with 15 - 20 winds I chalked it up to a decent season at 3... Wet n cold doesn't mix! Well shot two doe's n a buck during bow, and couldn't get a shot off at my number one buck at twenty with the stick n string , also missed another doe too, never even saw a deer during gun , but the freezers happy, and I can't complain on the season... 2012 is in the books ,,, now ...... BRING ON THE THUNDER CHICKENS!!!

Terrible... Terrible ! Never remember hearing about any of this crap when I was growin up' ! Great another push for "banning guns" ... They're gonna get the dam things anyhow , some way... Facebook is blowin up with status posts for ban guns n this wouldn't happen ... IGNORANT is what I say! U know how many sarcastic quotes I read today about " people kill not guns" only to discredit that statement! I posted sayin "how many responsible gun owners r gonna b PISSED OFF if u ban guns"!!! Only in the last ten or so years has shit like this become the rage of deranged people to work out there f'd up problems, mirror image of how our country and home life has been run Lately with parents... Def get a bow! U wont believe how many more deer u will see in the early season before the woods get painted with orange, and in some places u'll feel like u have the place to urself, way better chance at gettin ur first! Good luck and welcome to the addiction lol!

Hey I for One sure get as frustrated as the next guy when im not seein deer but it is HUNTING and wouldn't trade it for this fake ass stuff they call "hunting"! More like swipe ur CC here n come claim ur deer! Pretty much sums it up for TV deer hunting as well...

Don't know if it's just me but when the weather seems "picture perfect" ( cool, light wind, sunny) I almost never see as many deer as I do when it's over cast and windy! Shot a doe during archery in 15-20 mph wind with light rain and a buck right after it let loose this year... I'd rather it be crappy out , too a certain extent of course... Always do better!

Fake fake and more fake... If these so called ABC agents really did their job they would take a face, do some real police work n show up at the guys house and be waiting for him when he got back from " moon shining" ... But nonetheless , its still entertaining

I take the muzzle loader, one shot but still more accurate than a slug... Slug hunting is basically bow hunting with a gun if ya think about it.... Good luck, I know I'll need it

Hunted Wyoming co and middle port last three days n havnt even seen a doe! Archery I rarely sat without at least seeing some doe...

Ya that's pretty much what I've been doin ... Checking out new areas while the sign is fresh for next bow... Hard sittin in stand for too long on state land when ya know ur not gonna see anything, come on bow 2013!!!

equals barrel obstruction.... more so than even mud, which can blow out your barrel just as much as double loading.... not to mention the extra charge..... i myself am paranoid about pulling the breech plug everytime (thank god i have a speed breech) and making sure there's nothing in there every time! same as pullin the bolt on the rifle to make sure an unexpected round doesn't pop out you weren't counting on!

for sure, im all about that venison! plain and simple, i miss bow cause i had the woods to myself , lol.... AND i love bowhunting... just frustrated with numbers right now is all.... no hard feelings at all....

ok ok , not what im preaching man.... i agree there r gun hunters that are as dedicated as bowhunters, and i agree there are some lazy aZZ bowhunters too, always an exception to the rule, just simply stating that in my experience, for the most part those that bow hunt first and gun hunt later are more likely to be more ethically dedicated hunters instead of some gun hunters who just show up opening day like "ok im here , where the deer at" .... im a gun hunter too don't forget, but i've also put my time in already before that gettin to know the deer .... why do u think it is that archery has a stand alone feel to it in the woods, and as soon as gun roles around there is a dude every five feet in orange, i mean come on man.... im not hatin on gun, just the numbers and those who don't care edge wise and just want to shoot a gun in the woods whether its at a deer or not... and YOU KNOW what im talkin bout!
