I see now lol i'm still a new guy so I missed all that fun. I mean if someone really went out of there way to drive to Albany they must have had a really good reson. But good to here you aren't only teaching hunting in the style or form you see it. I sort of figured if someone wasn't willing to teach crossbow they might not hunt with a crossbow or just don't like one, and in return tried pushing his beliefs on others. Well congrats again i'm sure it will be great teaching new people about hunting and getting them into the sport. Bill.

Well congrats on being able to teach hunting courses. The only question I have is why you wouldn't want to teach crossbow? Just wondering, if you don't want to answer I respect that to! Bill,

Cool good to see he had some success.

I'm sure if you have them on camera and can prove it's on your grounds they should be able to at least give a stiff warning not to come back. And if all else fails put some nails threw wood then cover them with leafs. They were warned to stay off.

How hard you going to hit early October mornings SZ?
HuntOrBeHunted replied to phade's topic in Bow Hunting
Most likely won't sleep the night before, and will be hitting the woods early figure opening day gotta do some serious hunting. I've seen tons of more movement in the nice cool nights we have been having. -
Not saying i'm right or anyone else is wrong!! But don't yotes have bigger ears and are generally a little bit bigger bodied. This dog looks smaller, with small pointy ears. Just a thought!

Fox, but not sure if it's a grey or red. I can't really tell from the pic.

Yea I would just call it in Elmo, especially if it's bow season i'm assuming it willl be warm out and the feild dressing process needs to be done quickly. But more important good luck on getting your first harvest this year.

West Nile death in Onondaga County
HuntOrBeHunted replied to HuntOrBeHunted's topic in General Chit Chat
No wonder I carry my bug spray right with me, and spray it every ten minutes. Between the mosquitos, ticks, and deer flys I feel like i'm at war with the bugs!! -
ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- We are following breaking news in Onondaga County, where health officials say a human has fallen victim to the West Nile virus. Details are very limited due to privacy. But, we do know the victim was an older adult who was hospitalized and later died. It's the first death in the county...but the second human case of the virus. Health officials had previously said another adult had contracted the virus but was expected to make a full recovery.

What type of .30-06 ammunition to use for deer hunting?
HuntOrBeHunted replied to mossy725's topic in Rifle and Gun Hunting
Any 30-06 bullet will do the trick, along with a good shot, and 99% of the time they don't move another step. -

I would also have to say savage arms makes great rifles for the money. -
You can leave it if you trust that it won't walk away. My uncle just had one stolen along with a trail camera and it was all on private land.

I also had this happen to me, the guy told me " theres no such thing as a 9mm rifle". So I just took a hike wasn't even worth asking for a manager since I had no more intentions on buying ANY more ammo from wal-mart. It's ashame they even have these people that know next to nothing about Guns/Ammo working in sports section.
