  1. I can guarantee that will be the last time that guy reports anything Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  2. I agree. Just thought maybe they would take the deer and the tag. Didn't know if the fine was excessive since he turned himself in. Who knows. I am torn on AR. For my property I like it because it has helped grow bigger deer but also hurts because it isn't easy to get a doe tag. The buck I killed this year was in a no AR zone. If it wasn't, I wouldn't even have been able to shoot as everything happened so fast and I didn't have time to look in my binoculars. Ended up being an 8 pt I would have let walk. 3. I wonder if a NYDec officer would do the same (assuming this story is true), Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  4. This is just a shitty situation. I don't see how it gets better though. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  5. People really shoot farmers horses and cows? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  6. If you guys want anticipation just come to my property. You can way 15 years [emoji16] Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  7. I just don't see what the reward is in shooting a deer that you picked from a menu...just seems silly to me. I've haven't killed any monster bucks (YET!) but when I do, the reason it will feel so rewarding is because of the difficulty and how long I waited... That being said...if anyone has $6k that I could have to go hunt in Saskatchewan it would be much appreciated [emoji16] I don't believe those are fenced in though Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  8. I like it that way too! But was pressed for time. They were medium. I prefer closer to medium rare but then my wife wouldn't eat... Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  9. No marinade. Sliced it before cooking. Heated Garlic and oil, browned on each side. Added wine, parsley, salt, pepper, paprika and some butter. Let it simmer a couple of minutes or so to melt the butter. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  10. Backstrap medallions in a wine sauce with some mixed veggies. 10 minute meal and delicious Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  11. How high do I have to build fences on my property. They jump right over rock walls and ignore the neighbors no trespassing signs. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  12. Crap then I eat soup every year. Don't have enough freezer room for all my tags Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  13. Does this count as tag soup? I thought tag soup was when you didn't kill any deer. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  14. I didn't measure it but I'm guessing 169 inches before deductions [emoji16] [emoji4] Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  15. Fast enough to hit a squirrel? I'll be embarrassed if they duck my shot Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  16. Only reason I want to shoot the shorts is because they are much quieter than than longs. Not sure there is any other benefit Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  17. The bullet is not the same diameter? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  18. So theoretically I can shoot them but it would just turn my semi auto into a single shot. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  19. I have a Marlin 60c .22LR Can I shoot .22 short from it? It says .22Long only but I don't really understand why if the bullet is the same diameter. I would assume that my only issue would be whether or not the semi auto would be able to cycle out the short round. If anyone has any clarity on this, let me know. Thanks. 20. I calculated my cost based on driving/how many times I hunt/ how much crap I buy. I think if I kill 1 deer im at about $25/lb lol. I live in the city though so I have 3 hours of driving and toll both ways. Still well worth it. Im sure the $75 is more accurate if you're hunting locally Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  21. You recommend winter rye over brassica and clover? I have about 1-2 acres. I was planning on doing half corn next year and the other half brassica/clover. Haven't tried rye yet. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  22. I am too much of a pu**y to use a climber with no safety harness. I admittedky don't use them often when using a ladder stand Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  23. Looks like you can shoot a long way in that spot. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  24. Perfect plan. No question. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  25. Can't be lifetime warranty. I'd be shocked if it was Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
