  1. You have a bow/muzzleloader either sex tag and now antlerless. So you can shoot a buck and a doe. Or 2 doe. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  2. Hi guys, This would be a question for anyone who lives in the area. I live in White plains and see WMUs for westchester. Is there Stateland worth looking at within an hour drive of here? I hunt private land but am always looking for new places I can possibly hunt closer to home. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  3. I think the older stands are safer than the new ones. I just bought a new ladder stand and saw more than 1 review of ladders failing. I was surprised and wasn't sure if they were real reviews until I saw chefs post. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  4. Holy shit. Glad you're ok. Could have been a disaster. I actually saw a review for a muddy stand saying the ladder did that and I didn't believe it. You should contact them Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  5. I'll prefix by saying I'm not expert but id say 2.5 or ask the taxidermist after you shoot him [emoji1] Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  6. Team 1! Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  7. That was my next question. I have hunted from a riversedge treestand that was the most comfortable I ever sat in. It was mesh but I do not know how it held up. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  8. I have 2 big game 2man stands. Both are 10+ years old and they are still solid as they were when I took them out of the box. Just not super comfortable. I'm thinking with the mesh seats on all the stands now should make them all relatively similar. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  9. Is their brand Guide gear? Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  10. Whats up all. Looking forward to the new season. I'm looking for a 2 man stand and was hoping for some suggestions. I am comparing the big game 2 man stand, primal, ol man and muddy. Do any of you have any suggestions. I want a full platform so I can move comfortably if I need to with my bow. I would love to get an xstand or riversedge but the $300+ price tag seems a bit exaggerated to me. I prefer a two man because of the extra space it gives me. Not necessarily to seat an extra person. 11. For some reason when I don't clear wrap when there is moisture from the meat/blood if doesn't seem to seal as well. I've had bags thats that opened or had air in them after while. Im sure its my mistake or cheap bags or something but it only takes me a second to clear wrap so I don't mind doing it. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  12. Same here last night. We either clear wrap and then freezer paper or clear wrap and vacuum seal. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  13. The rack looks like it's 30 lbs on its own lol Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  14. Hate to be cynical but are these fair chase? Racks look almost too big for the deer that's carrying them. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  15. Says I do not have permission to view the files. Bad enough I can't see big bucks in real life. I can't even see the pictures Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  16. Farmer near my property says the rut is still going full bore. Is it possible? Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  17. 30-06 Federal nosler ballistic tip. When I bought my rifle 15 years ago I had a few boxes of Remington bullets and went to set my scope. I had about 3 bullets in a box misfire. I bought federal and never had an issue. They are a bit pricey but I have everything dialed in and don't want to mess with it. Almost every deer I have shot over the years dropped on the spot. The only 2 that didnt were does that ran about 75 yards with their heart in a million pieces. I don't even know how it's possible. Blood trail looked like a murder scene for both. 18. Tried something new. Bacon wrapped stuffed Backstraps. Holy moly. Not sure I've had anything better. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  19. You passed by the same tree as turkey feathers. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk

  22. Would never work. You would have to cut it up into small pieces and make a bunch of trips Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  23. Because it's the only place I can listen to silence with a view like this Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  24. If mine is 180lbs I can't even lift it into my truck. Lol Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  25. Oh ok so it will more or less take you to the location Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
