  1. Had a spike come behind me, wheeze 3 times and walked the other way. Did he see or smell me? If he saw me I'm assuming he would have taken off running? Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  2. Hang it at noon and back out. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  3. R u sure you guys aren't hunting in Saskatchewan and pulling our legs Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  4. Make sure you have cover behind you. If not get up higher. My pull up is cut to 20 feet so I know how high I am. Any higher than that is too much for me Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  5. Age anyone? Since there's now way in hell I'll ever get a shot at him lol Might be blurry. Pic of pic. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  6. Idiots i know on FB shared this celebrating that a hunter was killed. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  7. I've only killed 2 deer from the ground but those were the most memorable and heart pumping experiences I've had. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  8. Why are you switching it up? Issues with rage or just because? Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  9. Why don't you hunt from the ground. I get the disadvantages but your back is more important than the buck. Imo Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  10. I just fantasized of getting to the point where I see so many nice bucks that the one in your pic is not a shooter lol. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  11. Maybe the difference is just whether or not you can recover the deer when hitting that spot. I could see it with an arrow maybe but with how much trauma a rifle bullet causes it's hard for me to understand how a deer could survive it even without hitting the lung directly. 12. I would like to propose a law stating that when you go by a house that is NOT yours, if you don't like what you see, you stop looking at it before you get offended; or be forced to pay a $50 fine. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  13. Holy hell. I can't even get some people I hunt with to eat it cooked. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  14. Delicious (after cooked) Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  15. How deep is that water. Do they go through there much Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  16. I don't remember what year they were implemented but at our small property (4O) you can definitely see the difference. Before ARs we saw mostly Does and once on a while small Buck's (spikes-4/5 pts) with an occasional 6 or 7 on camera and once in a blue moon an 8. Since 2 or 3 years after the ARs we see smaller bucks all the time, occasional 6pt sightings and mature bucks on camera all the time. We have also had sightings of mature bucks almost every year even if it was not always while in stand. We've only killed one mature buck since then but I don't judge ARs success on kills only because we only have 50 acres with a 3 or 4 people hunting and bumping deer around all the time. Our neighbors don't hunt much so we don't have a lot of deer pushed to us either. Just my 2 cents. I doubt the change was all a coincidence but who knows. The only thing that sucks is you need 3 PP for a doe permit Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  17. Looks like grouse. Is that the same thing as a prairie chicken ? Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  18. 3 things. 1- to grampys point, this looks like work as much as a hunt 2- I was laughing a most points when comparing their process to the process on our small 50 acre lot. This guy would have a heart attack if he heard the noise we make. 3- I never thought of putting tape on things to make them more quiet but I think that's a great idea and will try it. 19. First time out. Jumped one on the way in. Hate that. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  20. Wow. Same results as the regular hypos. I will def give them a shot. Thanks Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  21. Has anybody shot an actual deer with these? I bought a ton on eBay a couple years ago. They look and feel exactly like hypodermics, just a little looser blade and they shoot fine on a target. I'm still nervous use them on a hunt. Wondering if anyone has real feedback before I spend more money on the real ones. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  22. I was in a similar situation. I have a cuddeback that I use that was $100+ that is great but I need another cam for cheaper. I bought a Moultrie. I think I paid 50 or 60 bucks at Dick's and it does the job. If you're putting it somewhere where deer will be feeding I think anything will probably do but if you're putting it on a trail then the cheaper cameras might not cut it. it looks like the main difference between the cams is the trigger speed. The cheaper ones usually have about a one second trigger speed so you will get a blurry picture of something walks by. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
