  1. He got the pass in bow and then I shot a smaller one. No pass tonight. Food it was. Culver was right, the Barnes expanders tip them over quick. And for Nomads benefit no ATV. I dragged him 30yds and drove Jeep up. Lol
  2. Good thought, but if I don't see them in the bedding, then I am thinking they will be coming from different area into plot. Time get moving somewhere!
  3. Depending on what time I can get out of here, that's a real possibility. Sit until 3:30-4 downwind of bedding and then quick move to plot for last hour or so.
  4. Trying to decide between food this evening for a sit, or maybe going a bit earlier and hitting doe bedding hoping there is still some rutting going on. Maybe I should do both. lol
  5. It was pretty cool wasn’t it. They are like mini elk.
  6. Kinda confused by that comment Larry. You drive to your property, walk a few hundred yards to your stand or wood shooting house overlooking a field or in the woods, wait (sometimes playing on your phone) until a deer you want walks by and shoot it. Not too different than many of us. So the bit of the past is dragging vs an ATV? Is the ATV to haul a deer out what makes it like TX ranch hunting?
  7. Riiighhhhtttt. The two times a year you drag deer ain’t adding nothing but time to the hunt. But if you like it, have at it!
  8. You should have called Nomad - he loves it! Personally, I would be calling someone with an ATV. I would rather drive home, grab trailer and ATV and go back than drag for 4.5hrs or even 30min.
  9. some people get paid to argue the proper interpretation of the law. might be worth a go fund me effort. lol
  10. Could be village land. Sorry, had to.
  11. One of the cooler hunts was from the ground, but all kills from stand.
  12. Tough season for sure. Props for sticking it out. You know better than anyone that it can change in a matter of seconds. That's why you will be adding to those 174hrs in the stand. Good luck.
  13. I have wittled better in less than an hour Wooly, but not bad for your limited experience. Your just keep refining that serious talent you have! Very well done!
  14. Hey hey hey, I never took protein shakes!
  15. I didn’t even know you could discharge a gun near 104. That’s a bit scary. I technically live in Penfield. Just Webster mailing address and schools.
  16. If she is dead, she will still be there in the morning. Good luck.
  17. No gun hunting. Big big difference. And the more populated it becomes, the less areas to hunt and more areas to safely hide. I am sure there are great bucks pulled out of Webster every year by those lucky enough to have access but also plenty that never see a hunter in a tree. When I was growing up, you could shoot guns at my fathers 40acres on corner of plank and 5 mile. Now you have to go east of 250 I think.
  18. Bucks that learned living in suburbia ain’t such a bad thing. No one shooting at them and all the hastas they can eat.
  19. Itys a 3yr old if its my buck. Since you shot it, we can go with 1.5. lol Definitely not a 1.5 Larr.
  20. looks like a 3yr to me but 190 dressed is bigger than I thought so who knows. Definitely not a 2yr at that weight
  21. I finished the basement in my first home solo except ceiling and carpet. I will never do drywall sanding again. That sucked!
