  1. Hey now, not only have I butchered every deer I have ever shot, I also do my own plumbing, electrical and HVAC repair. At least then I know whose fault it is when its screwed up. Still trying to figure out why I can't have both my kitchen and deck light on at the same time. lol
  2. You can come drag mine if you like! Not really part of the hunt that I relish. I will happily go with an ATV. lol
  3. Leatherwood / Hi-Lux TB-ML 3-9X40mm Riflescope. Its ML specific, very reasonable, good clarity, doesn't fog up and has not lost zero through 6 seasons and I am not particularly gentle with my stuff. I have been very impressed with it.
  4. Trying to get Jayson out Saturday again if he can make it.
  5. That’s a tank for sure Dave. Not a bad looking rifle either. Haha. Great season.
  6. I am hiring Dan to pose with my bucks. That cat looks huge!
  7. Congrats. I kinda like that idea of one buck per person on a property. Ensures good targets for the next season and maybe pushes one to hunt different areas. hmmm
  8. For those of us in WNY, I think we are losing the snow in the next few days and won't see any again based on the extended forecast. What a strange season that is weather wise. Plus I love hunting in snow.
  9. New generation of deer. Just a fad like the lines shaved in my son's hair. I would not be concerned by gangrene. You will know if there is an issue.
  10. Does it still have that strong irony taste as pate? I have never tried the pate because liver alone does not sit well with me.
  11. Way to get er done on final day.
  12. You guys all need to blow that photo up and hang it in your respective homes!
  13. That is really cool. Cant beat that day for sure!
  14. Save one spot. I ain't done yet!
  15. Glad you are feeling better and way to take advantage!
  16. Never dropped one off for butchering, but I recall a couple of times having a double and 1 triple and regretting it when butchering. That said, if you really wanted more venison, I guess take advantage when the opportunity presents itself. I end up giving 75% of my venison away. The ladies from my church cleaned me out a few weeks ago, so I will drop another one or two at least - I hope.
  17. Rest up. That big boy will be back on trips to food source soon!
  18. All depends on whether I really want to butcher 2. Most of the time one at a time is enough butchering work for me.
  19. Hunted 3pm to close. Little buck central tonight. No does. Thinking these were the dudes without dates.
