  1. The buffalo crew gets 20 on a weekly basis at the goat.
  2. Does it have electric running boards. I pulled em off my truck for about 3 days before putting them back on. Looked great but very inconvenient.
  3. Not having running boards on a truck jacked up like that makes little sense. I better be wearing sweat pants if I drove that truck or risk splitting my pants (not that that has ever happened to me at a wedding reception before).
  4. Now I know who that guy was that took up two parking spots!
  5. WE all know that killing a deer with anything other than stick and string is cheating, just like tree stands. Right Biz?
  6. That’s my plan and I am gradually achieving it.
  7. I have a box of them but shockingly i didn't even drop these two. I did put the bottom cam on backwards at first however. Lol
  8. Reborn at 50lbs and holding at 6.4. Been a few years since I tore one apart but it went back together perfect. Even timed dead on and in spec. Grampy will enjoy this one.
  9. I discriminate against wrong handed people. Lol
  10. Lol. I was rounding down to 28’ from an actual 28.5’.
  11. That’s like 28 feet or. 342 inches at 1000yds. Plenty.
  12. Its a smooth draw cycle. No big hump like most fast bows. 50lbs is 50lbs so you know what that feels like with your shoulders. It will feel lighter than most older bows that weren't as smooth or didn't have the huge let off. It really is more like 85% let off - 11lbs holding at the current 81lbs.
  13. Forgot to mention, all screws are stainless so no corrosion concerns.
  14. Great bow. But as some of you know, I prefer traditional so this has not been used much since I bought it new in 2015 I believe. I have 2 sets of limbs 50-60 and 70-80lbs and will install whatever you prefer. Currently has 28” mods on it. 32” ATA and a very fast but smooth bow. 7” brace height. Will sell barebow for $395 if picked up or plus shipping. Happy to negotiate in the accessories. For a member here, I will also toss in the matching (stormy hardwoods) deluxe treelimb quiver. No scratches, dents dings etc. like new condition. Just tired of watching it collect dust. Obsession has the lifetime warranty like elite which transfers to any new owner.
  15. Traditional archery bows tend to drop in value initially and then hold their value reasonably well. Compounds and crossbows drop and then drop some more and more. I also think that technological "improvements" to archery equipment don't really have much more room for growth. I buy bows because I like shooting them and I guess having a small collection is OK. I don't ever need to buy another but will I? I suspect the answer is yes. But I don't consider the traditional stuff throw away. The compounds and xbow probably will be tossed at some point since value drops so low after 5-10 years. I think I paid $165 for my xbow on a whim and it may be the last I ever buy. I don't see myself using it much except from a blind and for a cheapie, it does the job just fine. Short answer - I agree that compounds and xbows are unlikely to become family heirlooms.
  16. Honestly Gman, as long as it doesn't go bang and start spooking the deer, I don't care what others hunt with during archery. I agree that compound is only marginally more difficult than crossbow - but that's OK. But if the decision was to only allow stick and string the first 2 weeks of Nov., well I for one would likely benefit but it would be real lonely out there in the woods. lol
  17. Wow wooly, he is a chip off the ole block - pun intended.
  18. Ha, my daughter mentioned that before. We will have to fix that.
  19. And who were you taking to your hunting room Dan? She knows you can’t be trusted with the ladies or perhaps they can’t be trusted when overwhelmed by your charms!
