That is a coincidence. Crazy! And what a putz!

While you are right, I was just joking. - taking a jab at Treeguy!

My wife keeps saying that Kiki is in the kitchen, but I just don't see her.

Not sure what it is but my wife assures me it is delicious. Going to eat as soon as I am done looking for our dog who has gone missing.

Only 2 weeks ago, I had a very scary experience. I was on unknown property and heard my friend sobbing that he was lost and it was dark out. He was clearly terrified. Since we were sitting next to each other, I calmly reassured him I would walk him back the 50yds to the truck as soon as I missed the approaching fox. It distracted me from making a good shot but, it all ended well. In fact, I found a new kill light mounted on my rifle. In his defense, its easier to get lost at night.

Been practicing offhand at 20yds with the pellet gun in my basement. I can actually see the groups shrinking the more I shoot. Finding what works for me. Plus, its a break from shooting the bow everyday. Hopefully it pays off.

Its great to see an outfitter give advice and speak well of other outfitters when there is no benefit to them. Says volumes about you. If/when I plan an African hunt (hopefully someday soon), I will certainly be reaching out. Wishing you continued success Ryno!

You and the "attitude". lol

Looks very very nice. Full sneak? Kinda my posture when sneaking through the woods. Then I fall on a log and make a bunch of racket.

Yep, yep, have a great B-Day!

I am waiting for Ana to tell me.

what is acceptable accuracy with your bow?

I don't either. I always hit where I am aiming. Sometimes I just decide to aim elsewhere. -

I thought you never miss! Must have been filming for me. -

I usually yell "GOTCHA" at the top of my lungs as I release. It covers the noise of the bow. Works great. You guys should try it. No jumping the string. -
I agree. Eventually spectrum will mostly be an internet provider with its own app to be used for services. And you can bet that the cost of internet will keep rising. I am hoping we see more competition in quality internet service.
-
You will like it. We got rid of cable a couple of years ago and don't miss a thing. Plus, its so easy to cancel a service, try a new one, go back to an old one, whatever. Changes can be made monthly with no commitment. As Chas said, the only hitch is that you still need to pay for internet but that's required anyways for most households. Half of my kids' homework requires internet access.

One thing I have noticed practicing with the pellet gun is that the faster I can get on target and execute the shot, the more accurate I am. I almost like slowly moving from off target to the bull and holding very briefly and then shooting. If I try to stay on the bull too long the bouncing gets bad. Still practicing though. I also seem better with a medium vs firm hold.

Ostrich is like good red meat. Cook it medium rare. I bought a bunch of it once from a local ostrich farm. It was good but I did get tired of it.

Or at least as confused as a fart in a fan factory! -

I will be surprised if you aren't keeping them in a tight group at 20yds TF. You will have no issues hunting by fall I am sure. -

Since starting with the recurve, I honestly don't worry about pinpoint accuracy. I only am concerned about the major fliers. If I can keep those to a very minimum, I am confident. Watching the barebow championship at Lancaster actually made me feel better about my shooting. Even those guys don't hit the x most shots but most shots are around the 3" yellow. And that's with bows set up to get the tip of the arrow on the target at 20. Now with the compound, they hit the bullseye every shot with x count being the deciding factor. That requires a whole different level of accuracy. And one that isn't really required to be a successful hunter. -
I do an oil change in at the same time. Its just a matter of getting in the routine. Pit crew helps!

Perhaps you didn't rotate them daily as recommended. It only takes me an extra 1/2 hour each morning but well worth it!
