    Perhaps instead of criticizing, we should be learning from Tacks hunting strategy. I am planning to set up on my deck tonight to go after a big-ish cocker spaniel that has eluded me for several seasons. BTW - just kidding Tacks. Nice buck. All in fun.

    Hate to say it Biz, but I am reasonably sure that 8pt is Buckle before he broke his right brow tine. You can blame Tacks, along with the rest of the neighborhood kids, for his disappearance. He was quite the traveler too.

    They tend to fit on the athletic cut side so they may work for you. Tough to beat the price there. Its like 25% of new.

    In all seriousness, I only hunt smaller parcels, but still prefer to leave the big ole lead does as they will still view your 40 as part of their core area and hopefully pass that off to the girls.
