  1. Federal Emergency Relief Statute. Don’t know much about it but I doubt it authorizes a 2 week lockdown.
  2. WOA barrels are as advertised Chef. Worth considering on your next build.
  3. 204 bottom. Went with 22” barrel as I wanted every FPS possible.
  4. Lol. She loaded 5 and shot 5 slowly. No speed shooting like at a running yote!
  5. I was happy to see no flinch and solid follow through. Plus she understood the take up on a 2 stage trigger. That 204 is a great first rifle for her to get accustomed to shooting rifles.
  6. She did really well. She shot her first two groups ever at 100yds with a rifle using the 204 I just built. They posted out of order. First is me at 185yds with cheap FIOCCHI ammo. One flyer but it’s a shooter. Second and third are Natalie. She lost the fear of the gun and did well. Something to do when everyone is social distancing. Seeded the plot with clover too.
  7. I have specifically avoided looking at mine. Holding the course no matter the storm. Hopefully this ends better than it did for the boys from Gloucester MA!
  8. Must be. Mostly white oak armament components except receiver (stag) and gas tube.
  9. Weird. I have green but didn’t know there is a price difference.
  10. Let you know when I finally shoot it. Maybe tomorrow. Too windy today.
  11. Yep. I like their scope mounting and lapping kit too.
  12. I was just packing up to sight In my 204 and 6.8 and quickly bore sighted them. Realized I never did a review on this bore sighter but I love it. I am always on paper at 50 and usually very close to bullseye after bore sighting with it. And if you travel you can check before and after to confirm it’s still on without firing a shot. it has a strong magnet on left side (back) and a laser on right (front). Attach it to the barrel with magnet and center it on barrel. Then look through scope at 20yds and simply move cross hairs so that they are 1.5 to 2” above laser dot (or whatever your scope height is above barrel). I think it’s much better than any other bore sighter I have tried including looking through the bore. And it works with any caliber. That’s the review. I waited to find one used on eBay and it was worth whatever I paid for it. I am usually fine tuning after 1-2 shots.
  13. Apexer, I have never tried to adjust parallax on a scope that is not adjustable, but that does not sound like the scope you want on a crossbow. I would think either a crossbow scope or even scopes often used on airguns would be better suited based on the average range you will be using it. Save it for your future AR.
  14. One thing really nice about the 6.8 is that is maintains velocity from a 16" barrel. Probably the very best AR15 round for deer hunting at ranges from 0-350yds if you want a short barrel.
  15. Same comment I have heard from every hunter that has tasted moose. I heard its very similar to beef. True?
  16. I have eaten nuisance permit venison. Tasted just like any other venison to me.
  17. If you are asking about buying an upper and lower for 308, yes the idea is that you simply insert takedown pins and its ready to go. But you need to be sure the upper and lower fit together since 308 is not mil spec. That is why Zeek suggested buying an upper and lower from same manufacturer but in that case, you might as well buy a complete firearm as its usually cheaper. If you are asking about AR 15, as a general matter, any upper and lower will fit together and the only thing you may need to change is the mag depending on what mag comes with the lower and what caliber upper you plan to use. The complete upper should come with the correct bcg but if you need to buy bcg seperately, you will need to confirm that the bcg you buy is compatible with the upper caliber (6.8 and 224 use a different bolt than 223/556, as does 458 and perhaps some other larger calibers).
  18. Great deer caliber in AR15 platform. 6.8 spc 2: http://ar15hunter.com/fall-6-8-spc-rise-6-8-spc-ii-hunting-round/
