  1. Without a doubt nearly everyone will feel the pain of this economically eventually except maybe those on fixed pensions and government employees. I am hoping it’s short lived but not very optimistic.
  2. Sent you pics but maybe sx3 and sxp receivers are different in a way that makes a rail not viable. Or maybe the gunsmith should have tapped mine. lol
  3. Tacks I had a rail installed on my sxp. Best part was the gunsmith screwed up which I didn't know - and they never told me - until I removed the rail a year later (what the heck is that extra crooked hole). Shop was out of business. At least its covered by the rail.
  4. I have the same on my sxp. I have never seen a turkey it through but I am betting its great! lol Plus it takes up less room in my safe where it sits for years on end.
  5. I respect someone who can agree to disagree and even acknowledge a fair point on the other side.
  6. https://www.dol.gov/agencies/whd/pandemic/ffcra-employer-paid-leave
  7. Yes thanks to her and all the front line workers - EMT, healthcare and grocery workers. Sending prayers daily for them.
  8. Love stamped concrete. Had pavers at my first house. Way too much maintenance. Stamped concrete looks great and I haven’t had to pull a weed in 12 years. that looks great!
  9. I don’t have any sentimental favorites. None passed down. But I do miss a CZ Premium in 30-06 that I sold. Great story about it and it was a beauty. Sometimes being impulsive works out and other times not so much.
  10. QAD ultra rest You can usually find new black ones on ebay for your range. Once set up properly, they are a very consistent solid rest.
  11. One well placed shot vs 10 rapid fire. Think about it.
  12. Looks faster than a binary trigger but I have no need for that type of shooting.
  13. Well 2x2 is definitely more challenging. Shot a solid 3x3.25” group but only 2 of 10 in the tape. That said, all would be a good shot on deer as farthest from Center of tape was 2” so no complaints. Shoot 2 walk away and come back later for 2 more. gives me something to shoot for.
  14. Since my home office is now next to my 22yd indoor archery range, I have been shooting a few shots with the recurve every time I come or go. I started by shooting at a piece of 4x4" piece of duct tape. Was shooting pretty well so I decided to remove one of the strips. Even though I thought I was aiming dead center on the 4x4, when I moved to 2x4", I learned that I hit the tape at about the same rate and windage wise my groups tightened up. Even though I believe in the aim small miss small theory, I really was a bit surprised to hit a "bullseye" 1/2 the size of the first at the same rate. Going to drop to 2x2" and see what that does from an elevation grouping. I realize its a bit different with a compound since you have a pin to aim with precision but I found it interesting nonetheless. The old saying is true.
  15. Very very small electric Barbie fillet knife works best.
  16. Last time I made summer sausage I don’t recall letting it sit. I think I mixed and stuffed immediately. Then in the over or smoker at 200 until done.
  17. Prayers sent First Light. And I will continue to do so. Please keep us updated.
  18. Wait, I may just be putting this together. My great aunt always fried whole smelt on Christmas Eve. They weren't bad even though I am not fish lover. That said, are they the little silver fish I would catch in creeks as a kid smelt?
  19. I don't carry a pistol but now you all have me wondering if I should drag along a second friend with a blackbelt just in case Bill is not functioning properly! Sorry Bill, all in good fun.
