they are the greatest thing since sliced bread... no offense to the NON believers. RAGE all the way
-
i see this topic heading the same direction no offence... i think it adds alittle to the forum as far as those posts are concerned. i liek to see how other hunters aside from myself view things and what they have to say. not everyone will agree and not everyone hunts the same so i like to see these different views, EVEN if i dont agree with some of them. not in a negative way but you do have the right to not get invloved and let the guys piss around you know.

yeah +1 for the rage BH's. they put a nasty hole in and out on a deer...
-
not for nothing but if you took a slight quartering to shot you can clearly see there are a mass amount of intestine hanging out which would indicate and exit in the gut area thus giving you a very slight blood trail. the cavity will fill up like crazy with blood and you might get a spotty blood trail, chances are shes had alot of blood and clot inside when you dressed her???

no, because it does not benefit them...

this is true...

thats funny, hey whatever works right lol

i just want to put this out there... although there are not alot chiming in right now. MAJORITY claim they plant food plots and do not hunt them. this is a twist off of what i was reading in the other thread. wheres the hunters defending the fact food plots are completely different then baiting? seems everyone plants them and doesn't hunt them, this is pretty funny now. do we have undercover DEC agents in here that we should be afraid of? lol
-
i will be ONE of the honest ones here... i do indeed do food plots, i actually like spending the time to make them and seeing them grow. On the flip side of that coin i do like the benefits that "can" come along with it. It does not always have the rate of success we all want to believe it has but it is a fun past time making them none the less and i "DO" hunt my food plots. i have stands very close by if not off of the food plots when i hunt. i DO NOT souly rely on my food plots however as we know mother nature is NOT always on our side. answer = yes i do food plot and yes i hunt them...

This should be good.... and lets hear the truth.
-
well, that is VERY interesting.... thanks for looking that up

i personally think food plots are a level not necessarily equal too baiting but a level of baiting none the less... i make food plots every year, main focus to grow bigger antlers supply adequate food for the herd and also draw deer in and keep them around. and i will call BS if anyone says they do it simply for the deer, while hanging a stand right on the plot.... i do believe there are guys who do it for the herd and i do believe they do not set stands up on them. But id like to see a poll strictly for if any hunters make food plots to strictly feed deer and have no intentions on hunting that food plot or if its the opposite.

started out as a disease on captive deer, thats funny... could have been neglect on the raisers behalf. But none the less baiting on LI atleast has been going on for quite sometime. i see bait piles everywhere. out of a percentage of LI deer taken howmany have an "infected" diagnose of CWD? i would just like to know. or any deer in the state for that matter, because we all know bainting is state wide...

id say legal vs opinion... but some of the statements made, irrelevant to some make sense tho... the question in post 1 was quite simple tho. tangents were broken out and went off into comparisons, comparisons which make some sense if you think about it. Food plot vs baiting, although its the NOT the real question of the thread it does make one wonder...

keep positive and get better! see how you feel in a few weeks

that is prettymuch what i was saying in other words, well put... natural or not where do you draw the line??

ive met some in NY they exist... and my statement was not pointing out NY er's per say... it was a vague statement that can be outside of NY, ofcorase. guys with money whos pockets that surely go deeper then mine and will pay for such a hunt.
-
you would quite surprised what can get away with being street legal here, so long as there is SOME functionality on the car, ive seen guys drive there 10.5 cars on the street all day with their sheet metal wing off lol. not saying its 100% street legal...

a yuppie can comply with those terms you stated, however is not limited to such... A definition to a yuppie can imply to any sport or any materialism and or luxurious item. • a young upwardly mobile professional individual; a well-paid middle-class professional who works in a city and has a luxurious life style • an acronym for "Young Urban Professional", a term often used pejoratively with connotations of selfishness, materialism, and superficiality. Originally the term held some positive meaning, but quickly led to backlash against those that self-identified with the term. ...
