hunted behind the inlaws last night on state land, hung a stand and 5 minutes later no lie had 10 deer in 15 yards all around the stand... good night last night, i was going to capitalize on a mature doe but she was spooked on the way in.

3 rd bow in 16 years here... i have to admit i do like the latest and greatest equipment but i do not get a new bow often..

haha i thought of capturing the same pic you speak of, not for proof but for my own self... i do have a camera running about 15 yards facing my tree, mostly to see what has been there when im not and also if i can catch a pic of a kill on cam would be cool..

its a very risky endeavor to make changes on your bow or gun for that matter SO close to hunting season... changes like that i would save for after the season and go with what works for the time being... goodluck with sorting that problem out and i hope you do!

yup, there are plenty of topics i stay out of because i just don't feel like getting into it or im on here for other reasons and have no time to chime in. either way i do not feel obligated to chime in and follow ALL the threads started. i think we are all a good group of guys and for the most part we ALL have our own out looks on the wonderful world of hunting. its normal and i dont think theres a whole heck of alot of chest beating going on around here. just a bunch of guys trying to mesh and talk shop about the one thing we are all on here to do ----------- "HUNTING"

went out last night to hang a stand on state land behind the inlaws... hung the set, climbed up in half way had deer coming in already and right before sun down i had about 10 does under the stand. was going to thin one out of the herd but they spooked out of there. cant wait to check my trail cam this weekend, its been there for a week. i just hope with all the rain and wind i have some decent activity on it.
