    i dont usually wear them... my stands are usually pretty big platforms with nice comfy seats... i do wear them sometimes, it depends on the set. if its a tree that rocks alot or a windy day i might wear it.

    i always take mine off and clip it to the stand off to the side... my bow is alot more quite with the quiver off. plus i take if off so i dont have the arrows hitting on anything, alittle lighter as well.

    i usually sit the whole day almost every time.... i love it, you never know when things can happen and it sometimes happens fast. i had a doe come in who was hot and not 30 minutes later i had a high 120" buck at 30 yards come in on the same trail scent checking for this doe and that was around 12:30. the deer do move in the afternoon, just have to be in the right place at the right time

    I always wanted to do a bear hunt with the bow, in the worst way... But i never hear anything about bear hunting in NY. Is it legal? can you do it? i know we all get a bear tag when we get our license but can you fill it if a bear walks by your stand? im dying to take a black bear with the bow... i was just curious

    i always do. i have one for bow season, its a built in cape in my hat, nice and light and i also have one for gun season when its colder. but i usually wear my lighter one as much as possible in both season because i have no problem hearing with the light one. The heavier one is alittle more difficult to hear faint sounds like deer walking on leaves and what not. but i always wear one.
