Congrats . We were shopping for one ourselves, went to a RV show and almost bought this one, some good deals at the show . We went Friday , and Sat and Sun was a big snow storm , the guy said come back Monday and we could get it even cheaper . we decided to pass on RVs at this point.

Sunny and 70 right now , going up to 84 though , wind will be SW at 12 mph . With that forecast glad we made a store run yesterday to stock up on sunscreen and beer . Actually with the number of trees in our yard at home, and well my neighbors who have dead ash trees and some live ones that lean towards our house and pool, I kinda wish I was home today . Daughter staying there is working tonight from 7- 7:30 . Neighbors keeping an eye on things .

Every waitress here has been great ! The people are all friendly, and the drivers way mellow and polite, they leave like two car lengths behind you at a red light . Being from NY, it’s a culture shock , and I’m trying hard not to be a New Yorker here .

For you’ll I’ll get some ! Right now half an apple fritter, a few eggs , some Life cereal, two,week old coleslaw, a few day,old cooked breakfast sausage , a half gallon of gin and and a few beers . But the night is still early can’t promise what will be here in the AM.

Chicken Breast on charcoal grill and salad , cooked some mushrooms as we need to use up food in refrigerator before we leave .

I’m good the dermatologist checked me all over a month or two before we left . But I do wear a hat a fair amount of the time , plus I sunscreen up my head a couple times a day .

Wife’s nephew,who has a successful law practice here, is moving to Texas . They feel better opportunities for them and their kids ( they got a bunch .) He’s a gun guy, Republican And is just feed up with NYS . We’ll be visiting my Nephew in Tenn this June he has a very successful company there .He moved there after college for better opportunities , he found them . Good fiends of ours just bought a lot there ,and we’ll be looking around too I guess .

And anyone who’s married and think they’re not , “ paying for it “ is kidding themselves, they’re actually paying the most . In regards to paying , the old phrase is , “ I’m not paying them for sex, I’m paying them to leave after .”

One of the things before we left for the month , was go over my blackout kit with our oldest daughter who is staying at our home . LED lanterns ,battery radio , Buddy heater, spring rods and sheets to block off rooms ,and so forth . How to turn on gas fireplace ( flames will work, blower will not if electricity is out ) How to open garage door by emergency release, and reset it after . I blame being a Boy Scout ....... One thing to keep in mind, what was “ on “ when the power goes out often comes back on with the power, like your stove top, so turn the knobs OFF , and don’t put pizza boxes on the stove top. Power outages were always good for some house fires . Stay safe . u

So last night 9 of us went out to eat, most couples did this “ 2 for $20 “ thing , one appetizer and two dinners for $20 . I got the two for $20 for myself ..... This month hasn’t been the best for my girlish figure .

I’ve been drinking Bud lite at the house .

Last night I ask waitress , “ any fla craft beers?” Blank stare, then , I name a few, then” ya we Have Funky Buddha “ , but doesn’t know which one . When we leave I head to bar and see , Cigar Ciry, Tbbc , and others . They often don’t have any and where they do , they don’t even know half the time that they have any . But mid ‘80s and sunny all but two days this month makes up for poor beer .
