Man early on in the FD, we played hearts all night long , not that computer hearts BS . It was screw the low guy . My LT used to call me dumber then a chicken ,as I didn’t know who was out of what suit .... After that euchre was easy, although it certainly.is regional. Our last Monthly Euchre party ( themed) I won . Here’s a pic.

I never understood why ,one wolf wouldn’t side with the sheep to get rid of the other wolf first . Wouldn’t the republican want the sheep to vote with him and get rid of the democrat ?

Few years ago I sold a bunch of long guns I just never used, ML, Turkey gun and my Dads and Grandfathers guns . Ive had my Dads and Grandfathers guns for years and years, never used them and just didn’t want to burden our girls with selling them down the road . After selling everything my parents owned, I just don’t want to pt our kids through that, so I’ve been cleaning house .

Ya we’ re in the Villages now , North port starts tomorrow. Right now at wife’s Best friends, although my sister has a winter home here too . North Port my sister in law is visiting for a week , wife’s best friend is coming for a stay, as well as assorted other friends and shoestring relatives . I may need to escape there myself .

Just walked the the dog barefoot ( me and him ) . Why ?

We’re in the Villages right now, but North Port for the month . My EMS bag , is a zip lock bag with some trauma dressings ,tournament and ems gloves . I tossed in a Stanley Fat Max bar, for smashing windows mostly ,and some minor prying . If it’s more then a fender bender and no body is o/s I wouldn’t feel right driving by .

Ok as a FF ,I’ve never been one to stop at accidents and such while off duty, today on route to FLA twice in a day. First I’m driving 80 or so on large diveded highway and I see on the other side a tractor trailer stopped and a suv, then in the median I see a car that is just crushed ,I see emergency lights in route a half mile away, I brake and see the driver of the car sitting up . So I let up,on the brakes and continue on ,as FD is seconds out . Later on a smaller diveded highway (301) see people running across the highway ,wtf ? Then I see another car in the median,then a car in the woods on my side of the highway . I stop grab an ems bag, extraction gloves and a bar from the Outback and with a couple others remove the lady, and place her in the back of my Outback while we await the FD and PD. I do a brief assessment ( she was basically ok ) and inform the FD of my findings when they arrive . She was take to hospital as a precaution. Her car was totled ,although it’s hard to see in pic. She shot across median both of my lanes and into trees . It was kinda funny being retired and out of state, civilians on scene are saying the car’s about to catch fire,( it was steam from radiator,which I’ve seen hundreds of times, ) yet I didn’t bother to argue with them . Or try to take full control of the scene . Anyway cops were first on scene and very appreciative ,as well a FD . One day down 28 to go .

50 here in Georgia , should improve when we hit Fla. Love these 70 mph roads ,80 to 85 makes 500 mile days a snap , although a Fed Ex double rig did force me off the road, .

Didn’t see anything near the panels today, but 290 about a mile towards 90 from Delaware ave. There was a whole heard of deer 12-15 .

Did you hunt there ? I always saw plenty of deer there each time I drove by .

Same. I just don’t get all pumped up prior to a shot , after I’m pretty happy . Was excited after I shot my buck this year, largely because it was the third week end of gun, and things we’re not looking promising.

We have the Governor and the Senate, just need the assembly . I know my state senator is on board , and I thanked her at a town hall meeting . If every hunter who wanted it joined New York Crossbow Coalition, we’d have it in no time flat , I joined and I worked an event with them . It’s a numbers game, right now there are two opposing groups with roughly even numbers . They listen to numbers ( votes ) but sadly most wont come up with the $20 to join I gave them $100, but should have just paid for 4 others memberships .

Depends , if you snuck into the country or not ......

Ya, if I was the judge , no one involved would ever be allowed a hunting license again, confiscate their guns used and fines would be a bit stiffer, for a start.

Every once in awhile we really are low on milk prior to a snow storm,and I’m embarrassed to have to go buy it . And this is what a retired guys driveway looks like after a storm , if the darn leaf blower would have started ,it would have been cleaner .
