  1. What have you been smoking to make that comment? In these times when every year, another town is added to the sniper way of deer management superseding hunters. When HUSA is one of the biggest lobbyist in Washington and NYS. When the only reason the safe act didn't thoroughly go after all your hunting guns is because of hunting ,you think it should not be a state constitutional right at the very least. Yep I'll stop right there...
  2. Trying something new...2 bone in chicken breast ,skin removed. Place in the slow cooker, cut up several cloves of garlic, chunk some zucchini and yellow summer squash, red peppers, some cauliflower, Mushrooms, and half a jar of whole tomatoes. in a bowl mix 1 1/2 cups of Chardonnay with a can of tomato paste. Add basil thyme ,rosemary and a bit of pepper and garlic powder pour this over the veggies and chicken put on high for 30 mins. and then low until dinner....boil up some noodles or pasta and serve over that...It smells good...we will see.
  3. Nothing, thank you for asking...It was a simple question...You do know what the purpose of a question is don't you? To gain further knowledge or to clarify information read. You might want to adjust your tighty whities, they seem to be in a bunch
  4. Doewhacker ...are you saying you do not support the right to hunt and fish legislation?
  5. I don't seem to be able to log into my account...anyone else having issues?
  6. I wasn't taking notes! I was writing a letter to the Mayor telling him I was tired of getting slivers in my feet from the rough wood floor...Also whats up with no desk ...They run out of money?! I was brass as a kid too...
  7. This spot is getting a lot of traffic...they are still looking good.
  8. I want to add this to those pictures note the 2014 date in that last picture and the 6 points....I have pics of him in 2015 and 2016 same 6 points just bigger mature body and bigger 6pts and width I showed them here on the forum......He would not be a shoot-able buck on my land with the 4pt rule...ever..for if he hasn't developed more than 6pts in, at the very least, 31/2 years he never will.
  9. Thank you dbh..... Phade explained that...This is why I asked for a link BEFORE searching further my self. I understand not all searches show true results all the time......his (Purdy's) reply "It's on FB " wasn't a link...I know several on here do not use FB as well as my self
  10. Do you want to play the picture game now? Ok so you show a clear spike...is this the deer your hoping to same with 3- 4 pts to a side? This makes me laugh and sad at the same time...Do you have an understanding of what a young buck is? pics below...young buck and some even with a 4pt rule would be shot..these got passes but force a person to wait and count...your guaranteeing human nature to prevail. They will be shot.
  11. I do believe I may have pitched a bit too close to a nerve with that Ponzi reference...very telling indeed....
  12. Why thank you Phade...I bet that wasn't difficult to answer. Though you have shown more coherence in responding to peoples questions...
  13. We have the 3pt king cutter and it works like a champ...though we have 2 2'' x3ft x 3ft steel weights on it. With our shale it bounced all around with out them. I like King cutter
  14. Now Mr. Purdy...you seem to have a problem replying to the simplest things without deflection....See I understand ,because from your posts you must have to duck and weave a lot. Though when you have this defense strategy spill over into the simplest of subjects and questions ...Well it spot lights certain over all flaws you are harboring... It was a simple request to have you give a link to the site YOU referenced...you dodged that... Then when given a link found, You attempt to mock the find. I believe I am hearing the faint sound of the chain being pulled and the water swirling on your credibility.
  15. Oh I'm not afraid...the problem is I would have to get our aerial bucket back on the property...When I say as tall as our mature maples I'm talking 70 or so ft tall. You should never take more than 1/3 of a trees top when cutting back...I could not do this by ladder with out risk of injury...the ones that were manageable when we moved here I have already cut back some.
  16. I do not do face book nor twitter, again you walk around what I asked ...but I'm on the PC now so this is what I found in my search of NY hunt club.... http://nyhuntclub.com/index.php?forums/ny-deer-hunting-forums.38/
  17. I'll give you a chance to provide a link to this NY Hunt Club, because the one I just looked up has a whopping 237 members and a whole lot of subjects in the general deer hunting forum posted in 2016 with no replies....
  18. I did not Change anything...I also did not read that article wrong. Though I'm sure you wish I had. The problem you and I are having is ,well you can not change the multiple holes in that article. You could also go back though the post and see an article link I posted, from a biologist that states the first to parish in rough winters are not the tween/ teen bucks your so worried about. It is the older and fawns that are the first to die. Your AR push is what amounts to a ponzi type scheme for deer management.
  19. Thanks for posting that Larry. It pretty much summed up what I was reading in Purdy' s post, as to what would occur.
  20. DFA....correct he didn't say BAD...the word he used in the summery was DETRIMENTAL.. Would you like to guess what a synonym of bad is? Then we could continue splitting hairs.
  21. Buckmaster perhaps you and Purdy should reread that article....I can't at the moment go through and quote that article to coincided with each thing I mentioned..perhaps tomorrow..though I'm sure you'll walk around that as well..lol What I refer to is clearly written in the articles summary.
  22. Lol...you have skipped over the question I asked...as, it was written (your article) did I read it correctly?
  23. Not what I said..what I said was with cross bows coming in there will be more guys out there targeting the mature buck before the rut..There is no arguing that. Also no arguing that with more hunters for a longer time before the rut there WILL be an increase in buck harvest #'s before the rut.
  24. Let me see...age structure...we are bad by killing the majority of the young buck. In the same breath it's bad the majority of the breeding is being done by the young buck. So the answer to this is protect the majority of the young buck with AR' s, So hunter go after the majority of bigger older bucks. This mainly being done during gun and the rut. Thus leaving the young buck to......breed the doe?????...Now remember a month prior to gun and the rut, bow hunters are targeting the more mature buck..and with cross bow coming many more guys will be put there targeting all the bigger buck us greedy archers have been stealing from them for years...leaving even fewer mature buck for the rut...Am I reading this long thing right?......
