Reasoning aye? So that's what you call it. Certainly looked like you were trying to stay on top of the fence...dipping your foot down one side or the other as the wind blew, without losing a toe ,as it were. -

Try relevant sarcasm ...Your last paragraph happened across the nation AT THAT PARTICULAR TIME IN HISTORY. It had nothing to do with management in NY nor PA...There was no management anywhere at the time...people coming to this country had never seen wild life in such abundance...why ? because they were too busy doing the same thing in their home lands until the royals of Europe deemed the wild life on l their lands off limits to the commoners. In fact some waged war on poachers. There wasn't a save bucks only non sense going on in Europe. When people woke up here, species were extinct Which brought about the protection of the female breeding populations across the board.BTW..do you read a lot about blk tail buck, male bison, male elk,rams,moose?...Is male to female and herd health discussed, analyzed, protection of just the young put into play. Remember I know of lotteries and tag limits, limited seasons and high expenses...which is how they regulate and have for years...That said are they also discussing these animals as they do white tail and are they LEGISLATING, young male protection. I also realize there are millions more wht. tail than these others..but this alone would go to a total herd reduction not just doe for herd and environmental health. Doe and fawn are not the only ones effecting the woodlands...Now let's put food aside..buck do double the damage in yearly rubbing, The more buck especially young sexually aggressive buck ,yes just like in any species "teen" population, they do the most random rubbing. Doubling their ability to effect regrowth. This back and forth and the bringing up of Satellite discussions, such as your last paragraph, could go on another 40 pages..it will never change one fact.it will remain a dog chasing tail thread. BTW ..I have to ask..Before we Europeans came here and nearly wiped out the wht tail deer as we did other species. Can ANYONE show me studies of what the herd dynamics ,in a true natural state, were? Did the native Americans give us a study they did before we stepped foot on this ground? -

Yet guys that move south come back for our deer hunting. I know for a fact ,because I'm on some sites that are mainly southern and Midwestern that have guys come to NY to hunt our deer....Is it like Illinois, Ohio ect...? No, but It's time some of you start taking off the blinders and saying THANK THE DEAR LORD or whom ever you pray to,that it's not. Oh it's coming, no doubt. but the old saying " Watch what you wish for " applies here...Yes probably not to you four season ...after all your still raising deer aren't you? Though for the non industry regular hunters out there, they need to watch what they are wishing for...IMO -

I'm thinking it may never happen...with what I'm seeing going on here....A true Game office may not be as easy to manipulate. We have guys coming up from NYC,Long Island, Jersey with money taking locals to court over land ,let's say, situations and straight up saying money always win..Buying large tracts and making LLC' s . Making threats and trying to get surrounding locals to sell...We have received leasing post cards mailed to us recently...What's happening around here...started at camp over ten years ago. They have been after the camp neighbor for years...bought up nearly everything around us.....hunting ,all down state. One group tried buying hundreds of acres at the end of Loon Lake as a high fenced hunting preserve..not sure what happened on that deal...though no preserve was built. You have real estate companies that deal only in hunting properties. Hey There is a vested interest in making sure the people easiest to influence are in charge...That's your politicians. These guys and groups see hunting as big business , Land prices and taxes up here must seem like leaving a designer store and hitting the swift Shoppe for them. Ever stop to wonder..When these Conservation land "acqusitons " the huge tracts in the daks and some around the Finger lakes. When the State stops paying for these places...who do you think they'll have to sell to? Sure non profit, but that does not mean the CEO' s and employees aren't played good money...lands willed to them...Have you seen the $$$$#'s the DEC handed out to get them. All these people want to hear is no commercial nor residential building will happen and any wet lands are left protected as well as timber management...Other than that it's the highest bidder. No one wonders why Cuomo is having such a vocal push on promoting FIRST CLASS hunting and fishing in NYS?

On fair ground with deer...fawning 1:1...1:2 so for every 50 doe that give birth she is either increasing the herd by 50 or 100 On good lands, ag lands, like here in western NYS you have a 1:2 ...1:3 and oh yes sometimes...not often but some times 1:4 So for every 50 doe she increases the heard by 100 or 150. Killing button buck has 0 affect on wiping out a piece of lands deer population. For BUCKS disperse...and I won't even attempt to calculate the astronomical odds of every button buck being killed in a season... -
From a person that has brush blinds all over the size of tool sheds...it's a good idea but...nix the roofing paper...as I recall I have never seen roofing paper that didn't give off a smell when warm. Buy a cheap camo tarp from a freight store( can't recall name to save my life) ha! that made me remember...Harbor freight.

That had nothing to do with archery per say...Of course a TREE farm would use archers first. Here comes the sarcasm.. Do I really have to explain how bucks damage trees..and what time of year they do so?... The farms I'm speaking of have workers in the field year around , tours from schools, people that just come in to hike, and even bee keepers...yes they have a reason for using archers. Now how could one possibly show stats for a statement of what will occur with an increase of more mature bucks under a legislative ruling that hasn't occurred yet? That would be like you trying to show me stats on how that same legislation improved the health of the deer herd...Give me a freaking break from the nonsense. -
I have absolutely no idea...it will be last minute decision tonight... That sandwich would be perfect...if the chicken was grilled not fried..

They certainly will : 1. Taste better 2. Be easier to handle one at a time 3. Be much faster to handle in warm weather 4. Certainly reduce the stress of too much too soon for the freezer. 5. Allow you to eat supper sooner after a kill. Hard to see a down side... -

let me put this to bed..for the other members.. You can also look the following up in the thesaurus...never see the word LIE in any connection to the phrase hidden agenda nor hide behind. though to lie or lie is to misdirect...see different words have different meanings. I chose not to use lie, you did. Again I can not be responsible on how you personally take the words I choose...hide behind does not have lie associated with it ...Those are the words I chose.. what you choose to see is not my concern. http://www.thefreedictionary.com/hide+behind
