  1. Kills me they charge you for a service..then tell you you have to rent their equipment in order to receive that service...we bought our own better routers but that's crazy..Lol...Oh if you want DSL you have to pay a phone service as well...Why? It's the same dang line...just charge me for what's being used through that line..it's blk mail...
  2. My catalogs are coming in...so many descions. Farmers beat me this year.. So I'm up in the air on what to do..know I have a bunch of tree cutting to do right after Christmas/ New Years.
  3. To be honest I have a difficult time during the Holidays....everyone's grumpy, tired, hurried ,and or worried. I always thought how crazy! All this angst for weeks, just to enjoy a day or two with family and friends. You can see it on everyone's face. Years ago I started making it a point to make as many people as possible smile and or laugh while out and about. Well I tend to do that year around so don't notice it as much any more. Mr B and I never shop together. Though he hears me talk about how long my trips out and about take. Actual the whole family picks on me about it..drives the kids nuts, so many strangers stopping me..Yesterday he saw it in action...we got home and were discussing the day. He said I see what takes you so long. A few of those people followed you just to talk. Half of them looked frightened of being noticed then smiled when you walked by. What were you doing? What's up with them asking you where things were? ..Lol A smile and a wink, sometimes seeing a stranger willing to give you a smile and a nod ,when you feel like crap, can change your day. Calling out as you leave a register.. " Everyone have a great day, nice night ,good weekend ,or happy holiday ",can change a persons entire day...and yours too. Here's my best internet smile and wink to you all . Have a great week and joyful holiday with Family and friends...
  4. Hope you had GREAT DAYS and the year will be even better. HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY
  5. Thanks...I needed that on my sleepy ride home around the lake....there's little road between road and lake in some spots around Canadice...goal of day : don't drift into lake...LOL home safe and sound...and very very much poorer than when I woke this morning...We had 2 people stop us and say....I'm glad I'm not paying for that cart!...Hey I got my ham and the last one to boot! Walked out of Target with just the ham phewww I was in shock , no signing...Oh and saw Santa Shopping at Sams...Seriously the old guy was having a blast with the kids yelling Santa's shopping...and with out his suite!
  6. Well that explains those lakes...they did gail warning, for Livingston county??I suppose guys could be on Hemlock ,Canadice and Conesus...would never catch me...cold enough falling in snow drifts let alone water
  7. Today Mr.B met me in the city and helped wrap up some shopping then went to Carrabbas for lunch..first time...What a great meal...Our waitress was so good. a young college student MCC..Gave use a free sunday to share because we were first time customers.....Any ways I gave her a cash tip and payed the bill with my card...she came back with the bills and sheepishly said...are you sure?...LOL I said Merry Christmas!...You couldn't peel the smile off her face if you tried...Mr B said you made her day...I said probably her week too...Worth every single penny to see that smile and hear that genuine thank you...
  8. Thanks Moog...That's what I thought...I do not recall seeing such advisories so late before...they must be having a slow " severe weather " week,or withdraw.
  9. Do you still have boats in the water? I see small craft advisory and Gail advisories popping up on weather ground. More now then during " boating season". Just curious..thought most or all would be in storage now.
  10. Our property is just loaded with them..I dig and freeze a lot for winter. Very healthy for you
  11. Dang ,wish that was around when I bought my wicked ridge .....great review.
  12. Yikes is right....I sometimes wonder if guys,General term, think these rounds magically fall to the ground once they don't hit the target or even go through it. Glad no one was killed.
  13. Anyone else notice all the geese flying south today?
  14. Nothing but fawns until dark....it was cold & windy...they are eating sorghum heads and corn leafs....Tired of pawing through the crusty snow.
  15. Acting like a child at your age is unbecoming, though that tip was a waste of time..Merry Christmas Phade
  16. BTW, for some reason Phade wants to make this a personal thing...but I never require or requested them to change a design for me...I was letting them know there is a flaw. .As to Reconyx...please note their design... Bushnell seems to be the only one with this particular "faulty" design. Oh another difference...all others plastic...the Bushnell metal...you figure out which may get colder and hold that cold longer. You have the info choose for your self... https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1160405-REG/reconyx_hc500_hyperfire_trail_camera_semi_covert.html
  17. I didn't bother reading your last response... I will how ever put this out there..I have no affiliations, I do not sell cams though I do use them. That said This array cover is nothing new companies have been using them for a while and I have other such cams ,with two different designs. PLEASE NOTE...I have never complained nor felt a need to warn others of a problem..EX: http://www.sears.com/spypoint-bf-12hd-black-leds-trail-camera-with/p-00607591000P?plpSellerId=The Roost&prdNo=23&blockNo=23&blockType=G23 http://www.spypoint.com/EN/products/ultra-compact-trail-camera/product-FORCE-11D.html Now you compare them for your self visually...Let me explain the difference..SPACE SIZE...the tighter the space the more build up and longer it lasts. That's one, here's the biggest difference..I can take my hot little hand out of my glove and lay it across the Spypoint and it all melts,why...because I can actually touch the array cover behind the "diffuser panel" On the Bushnell the metal tight honey comb doesn't allow for my warm skin to touch the panel...the gap is too wide and the honey comb to tight. ...The 3rd...it doesn't happen as often with the others. Now living in the North we all know sometimes you get frost and or snow...It's what we get use to living with. I have been running cams since they first came out weighed a bunch and were huge with 9volt batteries..I am not new to cams...I dare say a good many people here were in high or middle school when I was playing around with those 9volt and multiply D batteries and 1/2ft x foot cams. I'm just letting you know a few things from my experience, apparently according to Phade others as well. giving you the opportunity to decide. I do wonder about a company that has customers saying they have a design flaw for Northern customers and continue to roll out said design..... I would hope that when a company has customers,as Phade said I'm not the only one to see this, see's design flaw, they'd look into it, over continuing producing it..well that says something.
  18. Well that sentence speaks for it's self. This Indian has placed that camera in every position possible and under cover...When you live in a high wind ,snowy area ,short of encasing it in glass(which we both know also wouldn't work) there is no avoiding a snow build up. Thus disabling the flash array. How much you have personally sold in cameras..really doesn't change that fact, irrelevant.
  19. Do you own or use one Phade? For I know that when the ice and snow builds up behind that grate...you can not simply wipe it away...so of course it make a difference. It also makes a difference as to the amount of time it takes for the snow and ice to melt away...for that grate holds it from simply slipping off as temps rise...Even if one doesn't own one...common sense would have to play into that realization. So night or dusk pics are certainly effected..no flash. BTW..the pic you just showed was snow and or a frost across the lens...not a snow ice build up on the flash array...if it was a day pic you'd still have a picture...a night pic ,there would be NO FLASH...
  20. I reward a job done well...Example...I Ordered a corn hole game..regulation size...FED X was the delivery company that the place I ordered from used...Now I am a 59 yr old woman with arthritis in my hands and knees, and other issues...This 20-30 yr. old driver unloaded a box that was all tore up and proceeded to drag it, one corner on the drive through the snow to the wrong door on deck. Mr B was on the tractor and watched the whole thing. He brought it to the right door called me out to open the box.. he held the box as I pulled the 2ftx4ft wooden pieces up out and into the house...never having to drag it..It wasn't THAT heavy! I have never had the UPS guy do anything like that and packages are never damaged...But he is not a lazy little pup either...
  21. You guys out there shoot something quick and get home safely before this turns into a real ---- storm out there. It was so bad here the driveway was too dangerous to get down...and it's been raining, sleeting all night.
  22. Roasted red pepper/asiago chicken sausage, acorn squash with maple syrup, zucchini patties, corn, and green beans.
  23. Goosifer..That is what he's looking at and more chainsaw type work one's...I have arthritis and nerve issues that cause not only weakness but also numbness in my hands Went out saw nothing...not sure why I bother being legal sometimes...out of the many 20 mins after close shots that happened close by...one was a blk. Powder...rifle ,20 and 12 ga...and snow mobiles doing drives nice!...a holes.
  24. It when finely ground, off sets the wines moisture....kind of like when you add it for making meatloaf..a binder of sorts, let's me use very little fat. Which I like for texture and just a slight flavor.
  25. Headed out for a 1 1/2 hour sit...just put sausage meat in to marinate a bit before freezing...bulk sweet Italian with a little pork fat and red wine and pulverized oat meal Italian seasonings and fresh garlic....some will have chopped peppers and onion.... This will be for patties, casseroles and meatballs. last deer done ,weather good to hang try for one more to do after Saturday.. PS cut another finger same hand..index...Believe Mr B. is buying me chain male(?) gloves for Christmas...this one just peeled back skin...lol good thing I'm a lefty...cross bow trigger finger is still intact.
