    Didn't see any deer at all today, but lots of fresh rubs and it was so windy right up till sunset. But on ride over to my sisters property my friend and I watched a coyote (big one) run out of cornfield and begin to run across road but stopped abrubtly and turned andran back into the field. And we both noticed a big, circuler mange or infection on thre top middle of his back. First time we both ever saw a coyote run out into road. This was around 3:00pm near the Cambria Firehall.

    Up in stand its bit windy and 45 degrees. My friends set up in his spot on other side of property. Few fresh rubs since last Friday. Happy Halloween and good luck everyone.

    Drove by 3 dead doe in Orleans County on side of the road yesterday. Have be extra alert this time of year.

    After no luck trying for pheasant in the state park, me and friend stopped at his lot on Lake Ontario and did some casting from shore, I caught one steelhead. Lots of trout jumping or breaking water very close to shore. Water was nice and calm for most of the day. Put the fish back in water to fight another day.

    Going to try for the stocked pheasant at the state park tomorrow. I have permit for afternoon hunt.....it will be t-shirt weather for sure.

    W When they made crossbow legal for the last 2 weeks of archery, the anti crossbow people said there would be an "invasion" of crossbow hunters into "their" woods causing more deer to be wounded by the "reckless" hunters using crossbow and disturbing the woods. I remember driving thru 3 counties that day and hunted both state and private land. The state land was empty. If they pass full inclusion, I doubt there will be another "invasion" into "their" woods.

    Didn't see anything out there tonight. Pulled cam cards on way out, maybe see something good on there.

    Finally was able get back out, hunting my sisters 9a. It is 63 now winds 13 with higher gusts every now and then out of southeast. Good luck anybody that is out.
