Thanks guys, no more soap for sure. This is first time I ever had heavy cast pan and i got rememer to heat the pan before adding eggs. I never was very good in the kitchen lol

My friend gave me a new cast iron fry pan for my birthday and was wondering if there is a cetain oil that is best to use? The tag attached said it was pretreated but i looked online and it said to do it 3-4 times in oven at 450 F for 30 minutes. I used canola oil and did it 3 times. So yesterday I decided cook some eggs, and I added some oil to pan and cracked 4 eggs into it and very quickly the eggs stuck like super glue to the pan and i just made a scrambled mess of them. And I had scrub it after soaking it in dishwater and it appears the layer in bottom of pan was mostly gone (from the 3 original seasonings I did} I want to try it again but was wondering whats best to use and when I cook eggs in it,do I let the pan get hot before adding the eggs to fry? Any insight on this that might help I appreciate, thanks.

I pulled one off my arm this morning, noticed it when I was brushing my teeth. I was at my sisters property on Monday to check my cams, and flicked 2 off me when i got back up to her house. So this morning I pulled it off and put it in zip loc and called my doctors office, just checking what if anything I should do. I was told to drop it off at the lab at his office for analysis. I just got home and this is first time I ever had one on me like that. My doctor said in the mean time if it gets sore or swollen to call them right away. I have enough health issues and do not need any more.

I saw a lot of motorcycles out today, guess they have an extra eye out for deer crossing road, it could be disaster if one came out.

Didn't have the sun Larry but pretty much dodged the rain for most part, then sat inside garage when it did rain. Ate all kinds of goodies and had fun day, thats what it's all about. Thanks everyone for well wishes for my B-day!
