Ok i got a question here, might not even matter but i am curious. I read that the lady from webster that bought those guns was arrested. Said she was charged for buying guns she never intended to use. Said on form that she was buying them for her and she signed it. She was charged with a felony for this punishable by 10 yrs in the big house. I recently bought a rem 870 express deer gun for my aunt that she gave to my uncle for x-mas. I was the one who bought it, back ground check done on me. Does this mean i committed a felony by buying a gun, signing paperwork for a gun i never intended to use or keep? Just curious.

the hunting related items i got were a new pair of deerskin gloves and a butt out 2 from my dad. but i bought my son his first bow. watching him open that tops it all. now we just need it set up and i get to watch him shoot instead of him watching me!!

Yeah he made some good points. I don't think what he said will go very far. I really see a ban coming on certain types of guns. Hate to say it but I see it happening

i am sick of hunting in these 40° temps. looked last night at the weather for this weekend. they were calling for a high of 32. i was excited. now they are calling for 40's & rain. weather wise this has been a terrible season. would really like to see some temps in the upper 20's or lower 30's. sucks when it is dec& you need to ice a deer down because it is 50 outside. maybe next year!!

i saw the dec yesterday at 3 rivers wildlife area in baldwinsville. he was checking some hunters liscences. i see them out there all the time driving there dodge durangos. this guy was driving an unmarked jeep grand cherokee. thouhgt it was just a couple hunters talking. i was suprised. glad to see they are out there though.

i have witnessed once someone shooting a doe then rushing itcl right to the barn with no tag. think that is wrong. but if you shoot a buck opening day, and the next day you are hunting and a bigger buck comes along and you shoot it and someone in your group tags it i dont have an issue with that. the deer is getting tagged. and i know & have heard of to many people whos wives or kids they get tags from because they dont hunt. he is paying for the liscences, not me. i smile every year when i hear people complain about how much they spend on there liscence. glad i dont have to

my brother in law and i were hunting in penn yan today. we were talking at 6:30 when we heard first shot. both asked each other how anyone could see. it was getting light, but definately not shooting light. i think sunrise was a little after 7. i know someone that got a ticket for that. and he got the deer he shot taken away. lost a wall hanger.

i was really hoping for temps with highs in the mid 30's. not a lot of wind & cloudy. but i will take mid 40's. a whole lot better than 60's or 70's. lets hope it holds true!!

got a question. could be a stupid one. went up northvyesterday to hunt my brothers property. dont have a rifle, or slugs for shotgun yet so took my muzzleloader to use for first time. when i shot it last after it was sighted in, i gave it a good cleaning then put bore butter in barrel. when i got done hunting yesterday i took my primer out. when i unscrewed my breech pluga capsule of powder was stuck to it because it pushed bore butter down barrel when loading the gun. so my question is will that bore butter prevent the powder from igniting during a shot??

He or the neighbor should have call 911 or DEC as soon as they heard the shots. But still cant believe people do that

i have the stirrups. havd had them for a while. put them on last night. might what i can get for price for new one w/out returning one i have. my son will be able to bow hunt in 2 yrs. will have to see

i called summit. they dont make those bungys anymore because they have the stirrups. guy said since a loyal customer i can return the xls and get new viper for $187. might have to consider it since new viper sd is retailing for $279.
