Luckily that's an easy one . I've been called a weirdo for keeping a plug kit and small compressor in my trunk.

The side burner on mine is for searing meat ,if the steak is thin enough ,ill cook the steak right on that burner , its just shy of 1.5 million degrees and cooks a steak super quick and locks all the moisture in.

We live in the time of recreational outrage Bill , I drove 2 deer home on the hitch hauler of my wifes Explorer this past season , one lady was going out of her way to cringe and hide her eyes as if to put on a show and another lady gave a toot and a thumbs up . I'll start bringing a small tarp to wrap the deer in from now on. Everyone is looking for reason to be offended these days .

Mine has 5 burners ,a side IR searing burner and a IR burner for using the rotisserie burner. I usually fire that one up in the winter to help get the temps up . It has a large folding table off the side that is incredibly handy when grilling. I got mine at Lowe's or depot. Can't remember which place. I didnt care as much about the build quality because it get stored indoors. I love it except for 2 of the wheels fell off. The brand name is master forge ,I can't say how it would hold up being stored outside though.

It's an infrared side burner dedicated to searing steaks , I'm not sure how hot it gets but we usually buy the thinner cut steaks and it takes 70-90 seconds a side depending how you like them done.

Will you keep it inside or out ? 2 features that i didnt know i needed and now have to have are an under hood light for night cooking and a IR searing burner.
