Excellent buck, congrats to your brother. Has your father had any luck? -
I see Pyramid Air sells some of their scopes. Read the reviews there as probably not many here have used them..... https://www.pyramydair.com/m/CenterPoint_Scopes/120/92

What are you thinking of putting it on?

All the bucks were killed yesterday. -
Damn, not want we want to hear.

Usually it’s off when I get to tree. I will hang it though but you have to make sure it isn’t flopping around in the wind.

I think Stormy lurks here.....

Love the buck, hate the scope bite...........BTW, most of us that do any amount of hunting or shooting have been corked by the eye piece of their scope once or twice. You could end up with a shiner and that my friends brings mega brownie points in my book. -
The camera (Canon G12) helps with those macro shots for sure. It’s so easy, even a caveman could do it.

Grab a bbq, knife & fork. Have at it!!!! Good luck that’s going to be a chore. Take it slow, no sense in getting hurt. -

I glad they've gone "bang" as planned. 26 years old IIRC!! -
It DID have a lead core, hence the lost weight. I'm not to spooked on the lead in the shoulder cause it's been well trimmed. In my .243 I use Barnes 80gr TTSX bullets and they work very well too. I'm not sure but next week I may take my 300WSM and that is charged with 165gr Nosler BT, I think.

Start your own thread ya blade.......no poser's needed here, this is serious business. LOL

DEC Proposes Potential Future "Holiday" Deer Hunt
Lawdwaz replied to CapDistPatriot's topic in Deer Hunting
As long as the rider is in a sanctioned club? -
Some of that fuzz on the bullet could be pocket lint from my jeans. LOL

Spent but recovered. I love finding spent bullets on deer and here's another. I killed a buck Saturday afternoon with my 7mm-08 at 200 yards. The bullet is/was a 120gr Nosler BT and it performed as advertised. I butchered the buck this morning and found the bullet under the hide on the off-side. She weighs 75 grains now so it shed 45gr. When I pulled the trigger, in recoil I saw the bucks head through the scope flip backwards and then the entire deer vanished in the grass and fading light. The shot was perfect and right on the money, taking out the right front running gear and heart. I know a few guys enjoy this stuff along with the pictures as much as me so here ya go, Happy Thanksgiving friends!

VECtor Grunt Call Unused-Brand New 11/2020
Lawdwaz replied to Lawdwaz's topic in Hunting Items For Sale and Trade
And this would be SOLD. I got your text Dave. I know you'll enjoy it. Hopefully it gives you good Moho. Opps, mojo..... -
Myself and a few other members here have bought these call and had great results. I know for a fact I've killed two bucks absolutely because of my VECtor call. I've turned a couple others but they never committed. Yet...... So back in late October my buddy asked about my call. I told him about it and showed it to him. He said he'd like to gift one to his son in law and that he wanted one for himself although his hunting days are very limited these days due to numerous health problems. Well I called Vince Crawford, the owner and maker of VECtor calls and ordered two. After they came a couple weeks ago my buddy said why in the heck did I order two? He knows it was just an impulse move he shouldn't have made. This would make a very nice Christmas present from you to you. "To Me, From Me, Love Me" So here we are, it's never been honked on and brand new in the baggie. (other than pics by me) I'll be sending it on my dime if you want it....$65

Button buck or BIG BUCK ?? 30-06..........??? -
Great buck but the doe looks like she had a rough go of it........You killed them both I presume? Congratulations if you did.

I reckon "chips" are an after effect then? Not to be confused with Ruffles........

Check out the link above “Bloodsport” then look at their “Blood Ring” arrows. The wraps apparently change colors to show where you hit your deer. Or didn’t......

I’m looking for (as mentioned above) a mid shaft type wrap. I rather not zip my fletching off, apply these then re-fletch. I’m thinking some white ones for before the snow flies and orange for snowy conditions. These you guys have shown links to are ok?? Thanks
