  3. Excellent, it’s ON!
  4. What about April 1st opening day of trout? I bet they close it.......
  5. Mixed bag for you...Byers' Archers Edge Sharpening tool, pair of knock set pliers and two recurve bow stringers. One of the stringers is very old, probably from the 70's and the other is a Selway Limbsaver from only about 25 years ago. LOL All in great shape..........$30 shipped
  6. The tempered glass on those doors is usually very difficult to break, even with a sledge hammer but ya never know?!?!?! I’d discourage that behavior next time.....
  7. Funny thing; I don’t think I ever killed a timberdoodle although I did hunt them once on Grand Island 25 years ago. We put a couple up but I don’t think I killed one. As far as Mr Ruff, only one notch on my stock for them. Killed a couple wild cock pheasants and lots of preserve hens & cocks.
  8. Oh yea.....seems I do have some strange luck with game birds, huh? Good memory Dave!
  9. So a week and a half ago a cock pheasant runs across the road in front of me........I go "WTF?" and crank a you-eee. Grab a couple quick pics as he scoots along the fence and luckily he's back dropped by a white trash bag. Oh and this isn't a country road where you'd expect it, it's three streets east of Harlem, on Kensington in Snyder. Where in the heck would this bird come from? You could count all the wild birds (gotta be, right?) I've seen in NYS on one hand! Weird but not nearly rare, I was traveling down Wehrle Drive in Clarence on Tuesday at a tick over the speed limit and I spot something off the right shoulder of the road out of the corner of my eye. I hit the brakes and my wife is like "oh come on, now what?" I do another you-eee and drive past it and do another you-eee so it's right in front of me. Standing right on the edge of the road is a woodcock. He doesn't fly until I get within 4-5 feet then buzzes over to a swampy section closer to the woods. How cool is that? A couple very neat encounters with game birds you don't see too often, made my days!!
  10. Happy Birthday Philo!!! Who's got his contact info??
  11. In our main retirement account we were down (at the close of business yesterday) 13%........
  12. At the close of business yesterday, not today it isn’t......
  13. Funny how things change when it could be (but certainly hopefully NOT) a loved one from your own family. Show me somebody on here that's all in on “herd immunity” with a family, then read the above quoted post and tell me they'd chance it with their family.
  14. Good catch Dan........I read the post above but HV didn't register. I passed through there many times and hunted spring gobbler just east in Westfield and that general area off Rt 49. Saw lots of bears while hunting back in the 90's there. That behemoth could have been one I'd seen!
  15. Just from a zoom in, there are 15 rungs on the ladder approx. from the ground to the base, should be about 15'-16' legs? (in ground or setting on a base ?) And yes, it looks like he used the elevators.
