  1. That's an outstanding example.........not really. Stick tight though, I'm sure some really good insight is still to come...........
  2. Only way I’d push a wounded deer is if there was snow on the ground and I was carrying a gun. (During firearms season) For those that encourage pushing a wounded deer, what wound would make you decide to push it?
  3. May as well go home if you haven’t seen a deer yet. IT’S THE RUT YOU LUGNUTS. ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN AT ANY TIME.
  4. Not bad, like a head cold. I went to work late this afternoon to check email and voicemail, sent some emails etc. Nobody in the office........ Then shot my bow out back, knocking two vanes off two arrows. Tomorrow while convalescing I'll break out the Bitzenburger and glue some new ones on.
  5. Good inventory of animals there Ron.....a little cold weather in the coming week should have things improving for you.
  6. He's the taxidermist to the stars, not the mod. The mod is WNYBuckHunter. (or something similar to that)
  7. Who's going to pick up the slack as far as the deer kill count biz was doing?
  8. I don’t recall the exact date I tested positive last year but i was on my last day of quarantine when I killed an 8pt on October 30th. I didn’t feel 100% but it seemed like the right thing to do……lol.
  9. Oh wait, that wasn’t the question…..
  10. Good memory......3rd week of October last year.
  11. Around 1pm today my boss sent me a text that he won't be in tomorrow, his first bout of covid. I took a test 45 minutes ago and I am positive too......
  12. I have a package for you, when you are ready.
  13. I’ve got a (I hope anyway) a head cold. Headache, cough and no temperature.
  14. Now you’re just being ridiculous.
  15. 7:49am sunrise today....kiss this sleeping in away Sunday morning.
  16. I’d even send him a beard if he shot a hen.
  17. 3.5 would be my WAG.
  18. I hope Cynthia sees the humor in this.
  19. Brian, I started with a recurve in the mid 70’s, went to compound in the early 80’s, then back to the recurve & longbow in 1986. Stuck with that until (IIRC) 1999 when I went back to the compound and where I am now. Judo points work with all of them, just fine. If a guy or gal wants to pot a squirrel, grouse, rabbit etc the Judo point is a much better choice than a field point or broadhead.
  20. There is always a Judo point tipped arrow in my quiver. Probably late 70’s on I’ve “shot” my way in in the afternoon and shot my way out in the morning. Dead tree stumps and the odd colored leaves are worthy targets.
