You need 'em. You'll love 'em. I can deliver 'em.

I know this is a stretch but I'll let this stuff go pretty cheap to a forum member. The screen is in pretty good shape and measures 41"x29" The tools and match holder are in excellent condition. These items would cost are pretty good buck if you bought them new. No shipping. $30 either here in Amherst or if you are between here and Canadice via either Rt 20 in Avon or 63/20A Geneseo etc I could meet you sometime. Let me know....Larry

I sleep well at night knowing I'm doing my part to better the world and sometimes that involves risk. YMMV

I saw some unusual activity on night last weekend at dusk but couldn't get a plate number. I should have blocked the road to slow them down. I did get a partial plate number and a good look at the RED FORD P/U.....................the word is out to on these guys.

And how do you know HE has killed four bucks?
-
Yea, a friend killed a hard horned 8pt doe back in the 80's on the west side of Honeoye Lake. The DEC was called in Avon and they sent a guy down to document it and then it was mentioned in the Conservasionist Magazine.

I had an encounter with a buffalo about ten years ago but I was asked by the State Police to be available to shoot it if needed. They and the county sheriff office didn't have a gun capable of dispatching it if it came down to it. The critter was an escapee from a farm and was in a State Park with campers on site. I helped put the plan together and even requested a State Police chopper be brought in to assist. The Buffalo NY zoo put together a tranquilizer and a gun then IIRC a DEC employee darted it after we used the chopper to push it out of the thick brush. My chore was to protect the innocent; me and a Sako 375 H&H were ready to do the job but weren't needed when it was all said and done. I'm just trying to help officer..........

Anyone following this Ferguson stuff going on?
Lawdwaz replied to burmjohn's topic in General Chit Chat
Yes, a 7:00AM announcement would have been a much better time than 10:00PM...................................... -
I've seen tracks once........in NYS.
-
I see.........said the blind man.

Yea, relevance here ?

I've never seen one in NYS.......in PA I've seen quite a few. Three years in a row while hunting spring gobblers I saw bear. A sow with 5 (yup, five) cubs, a sow with two cubs and then the third year a sow with three cubs. One encounter was kind of hairy but it worked out OK for me......the cubs weren't to thrilled about it. During buck season in PA back in the 80's I saw bear a few times but of course there was no season. I hunted Alaska in 96 or 97 and saw a few but didn't kill one. The only one I ever killed was in Sask atchewan and was no giant but still very exciting for me.

Yes, whole. Were they delicious? As with most of my cooking, hot and fast gets 'er done!

Oh..............those are both dandy bullets. I'd say it's a flip of a coin, with the Barnes most likely to win if I was doing the flipping!! Remind me about that 9.3x63.........CZ?

No schit. Say what? I always have some good points, sometimes I'm a little rough but work with me..... You PM me an address and I'll send you a tube (still sealed of course) of the Starbucks Via. You NEVER had instant like this. Really.......................... (oh, and I can tell you are becoming a fan)

Shoot me. I hate that stuff................................

Did you get the check?

Jees.........I hope its not too late but I did mine in some olice oil and garlic, using a cast iron skillet. Rare to medium rare is as far as you want them to go. Rosemary is awesome on them also. Luck...............

Good job Senior Bizzy!

I have a feeling you'd be very dissapointed if you did shoot it through a cronograph, most people are! Don't sweat it though, it'll be plenty fast enough.

OK but I'll pass on the nightly cookout. I like my Coleman stove and a couple propane bottles. Pretty easy to pack and no messing with wood. I could imagine you'd go through a pile of wood for all your cooking and cleaning needs??

Curious, can you store a replacement blade onboard? I never looked into them as I also like my old fashion stuff!
