I just hand a (one) fried egg sammy. Thanks for the reminder, Doc. Two would have been good, three just too much.......................grin
-
Today is garbage day. I rolled the tote out to the curb and was almost overcome by the stench. Now I remember our old trick, put the fish guts/parts in the freezer until garbage day............ Anyone need any maggots???????

But, you aren't positive right now it IS the battery are you? Is it the OEM battery? I'm SURE the garage checked all the connections.................. $418 for a starter? Damn am I out of touch!

Swapping equipment out when a contract expires is too much hassle every couple years, it ain't happening. A Verizon Fios install is an 8 hour job!

For Dinsdale and Doc (and any others than are hankering for a RB on weck) here you go......... Note the soda, I'd of had a beer or two but I was the wheel man on the Mad River canoe that day and would be paddling in circles and ended up in Niagara falls. That was at Swiston's in Tonawanda last summer. My wife and I went there two weeks ago via the new rig and it was just as good or better than last year. Unreal................ (think I like ketchup?)

Ohhhhh Doc. PM me your addy, I'll be in Naples on the 6th of July. We need to talk..................................................... You COULD be my brother from another mother!

Well, I'm on page 7, post #140 and I think it is too late for me to join in and stir things up. I think I'll go make a sandwich...................................
-
I've been avoiding it since I have a 15-soon to be 16 year old daughter and am terrified of the thought..................... Since YOU think it's funny, I'll take a look. (or shouldn't I?) grins..
-
Where in the state are you hanging your camera?

I think I made a similar post last year or two years ago about sandwiches, sorry for the re-up! Odors? Hunt the wind and enjoy a your sandwich, my friend!

I was looking at the thread on bee swarms and thought of one of my favorite sandwiches, peanut butter & honey on Home Pride Wheat Bread. Then I started thinking about the new Peter Pan peanut butter with the honey in it, darn is it good! Other favorites are liverwurst, fresh onion and rye bread with some good mustard like Nance's sharp mustard. (hunting season notably in camp) or my #1 favorite, egg salad: Miracle Whip, green olives and either Italian white or a wheat bread. Ohh baby. That is the sandwich of choice on opening days of almost any hunting season for the pack. Damn do I like them.......... Bologna, ham, capicola, etc is for the birds, IMO. <grin> HOLY COW........I almost forgot about TUNA! Man do I like that also with green olives. Catch ya later, I have to make dinner for the kiddies..........................................................................................

Verizon DSL for the web and Dish for tv. I just got the HD receiver last fall and the signal quality is great. I've been with the Dish for many years now.
-
I'd bet that wasn't even in the USA. The film maker is Zeeshan Khan. Europe would be my guess..........

Yes, seems like every time I go by there on the 190 folks are wetting a line. My wife and I took a ride over by Squaw Island a few weeks ago by car and I just wonder how they can catch fish in that current! I've run the river in a bunch of different boats and gone under the Peace Bridge. If you've never done THAT, your really missing out on something. The pucker factor is amazing................................................................. Things are much more tame around Ontario St, IMO.

I think your pretty much spot on with your assessment of the rules but I'd like to see it in writing from an official publication. How'd you do around Strawberry Island? I figure that will be my next shot as I've heard guys were picking up some bass there. I knew Ontario was free. Is the one at the foot of Sheridan free, I'm guessing it is not? I had a 17' I/O for almost 20 years and launched at Ontario, Erie Basin and a number of other launches in the Finger Lakes and also a private joint in Waterport. This past weekend was the first time I ever launched at the Small Boat Harbor. Fished Friday afternoon and Sunday morning. The launch ramps there are pretty efficient, to say the least! 6 ramps for launching and 6 for retrieval. They have you park your vehicle/trailer quite aways from the ramps and they have a shuttle service for you! I was impressed...... Strawberry??

OK, we've covered #1 & #3. Gold star for the member that gets #2. Tell you what, instead of a gold star, I'll pay your membership here for the next year...............
-
'Bout damned time you showed up. Where have you been, Africa?? (thanks for the link!!)
-
Pay-per-use at the Small Boat Harbor and free at a couple others I've used.
-
Ok, maybe three questions. (Grin)
-
1) where do I get a list of boat/trailer regulations in writing? 2) where do I find regulations on fishing border areas, specifically upper Niagara River with regard to legal boundaries to Canadian water? 3) if you (not me) catch a smaller than legal fish that has swallowed the hook bad, what is the best thing to do, just snip your line and leave the hook in place and return the fish to the water? Thanks in advance...........
