    I didn't see the post in question here but if a member goes over the line, he should be punished. If he is a multiple time offender that has been warned numerous times and keeps it up, he deserves the boot.

    Clara Weber killed a bull moose and a bull elk with a .243 Al killed a truck load of PA bucks with the same gun......Sako 243. They were the reason for my love of the .243 The ammo they used was just inexpensive over the Gun Center counter ammo, NOTHING like the ammo available today.

    Sadly it's a part of all hunting Zeek, archery more so than gun of course. Your son will learn from it as well as members here. We all need a reminder once in a while.

    This was the first time I sat these woods this fall due (and only the third time I've even been in a stand) to all the warm weather, busy at work and the Covid......I had a small buck go by me around 8am then this buck came at 8:20am. I stopped him at 18 yards with a grunt and made a perfect shot. I let him go for an hour just to be sure. He only went about 75 yards before piling up. He dressed out at 152lbs.     Fun day for the kiddos today. (Also a kick ass day to be hunting!!) When I was a kid it was a BIG night. We sure had fun…….. Post some pics of your pumpkins and trick or treaters if you can.

    I cleared protocol last night at midnight.

    Doesn’t adhere well in dampness. Electrical tape for me. A couple extra wraps around the barrel for after you blow the first one off. (Hopefully you do that!!)
