  1. If I had to choose, it’d be archery equipment.
  2. Lol ya sick bastid. That DOES NOT look better than a big buck but man, if it trips your trigger…….do it!!!
  3. Damn that’s be cool as hell to see. Too bad it’s four hours away. And, I don’t know anyone that needs a new tailgate.
  4. "I backed my truck into the rear lot of our building at work and got the block set up at 20 yards" I park in front during the work day, typically. A tailgate is a pretty handy thing for lots of uses.....including working on the bow or setting a beer on. And no, the vice is not attached but is still for sale at a reduced price.
  5. $30 an arrow......what are you shooting?
  6. You obviously are a superior shot! If I would have Robin Hooded' one then I'd have stopped. I'm not too worried about a single ruined shaft; I enjoy this stuff.
  7. Couldn't, wouldn't and shouldn't. I'm pretty much a VERY close range archer. I've only killed one buck over 30 yards (30-32??) and 99% of the rest inside of 20 yards. Yes, last year the second shot on the buck I killed was way out of my comfort zone but I made it work and it was deadly. I'd never take that shot on a healthy, un-wounded deer. I know my personal limits as I'm sure you do also.
  8. A couple weeks ago I bought a new quiver and since it wouldn't fit without an a-dapter kit (And with a little bit of help with an adapter kit-Johnny Cash) from the same company, got it all mounted up and low and behold the extra bump out for the A kit my sight wouldn't adjust enough to give me enough windage to get back to center bull.......I was a couple inches to the left at 20 yards. I still shot it and tried to figure out WTF I was going to do. I just couldn't get from here to there......damn it all. So tonight after a very stressful day with calm winds and a few minutes to spare, I backed my truck into the rear lot of our building at work and got the block set up at 20 yards. As expected (magical archery fairy's didn't hold op their end of the deal) all my shots were a couple or even three inches to the left. I said to myself, "fugg it" and put the Allen wrench to work. Pulled my sight, the quiver mounting bracket and quiver. Re-mounted the sight, cranked it back a few turns and within minutes I was back in business. Without trying to send Biz into a coronary, I proceeded to plunk 5 shots into the bull at 60'. Yup Tommy, 5 shots at 20 yards and no damage done to shafts, knocks or vanes but there was plenty of rubbing, all the confidence I NEEDED going into this season.
  9. I suppose they are as I haven't heard otherwise.
  10. I don't have a gun rack yet. Do you have any pics of how you "put it on the gun rack"? Maybe you meant "put it in the gun rack"?
  11. I have a blued 4 5/8" barrel Ruger Flat Top 44 special Bisley I'm going to sell one of these days. LOL, I just don't see myself spending any time shooting it and certainly not hunting with it. Just no real interest. It feels good in hand and sure is a well built gun.
  12. I have a LE Wilson case trimmer and a bunch different case holders. I like it plenty and although slow, I don't need to trim too often and when I do, the process is enjoyable with the right equipment. Your setup looks pretty slick also. Trim away!!
  13. There ain't no rear site.........
  14. Like an 870........there isn't much inside those things. Simple and functional.
  15. If it’s empty drive the two trigger group pins out and drop the assembly out. They’re pretty simple as far as I remember.
  16. Took my hunter safety as soon as I could but I really don’t recall if legally it was 12 or 14 in the mid 70’s. I thought it was 14……..if so I was 14 in 1975 and that’s be my first year. That makes this my 46th.
  17. Doesn’t look too big to me…..maybe FSW weighed it and he could share that information?
  18. For the price of those I’ll continue buying Bocce, LaNova and Sorrentino’s in a box. Happily
  19. Turkey boobs, stuffing, butternut squash and asparagus.
  20. Nice job Zeek, he’s really hooked now!!
