Who is lucky enough to have hunted this morning in PA? Looks like a blue bird day so the weather can't be an excuse! I know Pygmy is hunting across the boarder in Canada and a friend is in PA, no reports from either one, yet!

Funny, last Sunday morning I woke up to a panic situation here. No wireless signal. I spent an hour on the hardline with some dude in another country; me crawling around on the floor trying to read serial numbers, watching out for blinking lights and a dog drinking out of my coffee cup........... The outcome? He said my modem/router was chicken chow mein. I plugged a yellow cable into the back of the modem and could operate one computer at a time for the day. I was told to call Verizon and beg for a free router as they should charge me for it. Really? Damn...... Well............later that night the wireless signal was back. WTF? it has been working fine since then. Who is our resident IT guy here, hmmm.............Oh John, what's the deal here, ever see something like that before?? I feel your pain Growie!

I hit Bowsite occasionally, never spent too much time at AT.

Bottles are cool. I found and given away lots of them over the years. One that I kept is a pretty old Coke bottle. If I get a chance tomorrow, I'll snap a pic or two.

For a few years now I've been running with a high tech hunk of weed. The front sight fell off my Benelli SBE while hunting and I stuffed a piece of weed in place. Seems to work OK for me, I highly recommend the same............

And if I win her, THEN what do I do with her? My wife is gonnnnnnnnnaaaa be mad.............................................................<grin>

A man owns the salon and he hunts. I think even a state inspector would have to cut them some slack as there was nothing you could do other than close. The clients were pretty cool about it other than a little more bitching than usual. <grin> I had two odor control machines going and we searched high & low for the source. The building is next to a high end restaurant and thats the reason they are (were?) around. The odor was brutal UNTIL the rat was removed. The next day the odor was completely gone. If I EVER deserved a serious tip, this was it. Unfortunately all I got was a gift certificate for a pedicure, I kid you not.

I've done some amazingly strange jobs in the past 28 years in my business but this one is in the top 3. I could right a book...........

A couple months ago I got a call from a customer for a horrible odor in their hair salon/spa. The owner told me he knew it was a dead rat somewhere.....we looked for a couple hours to no avail. The building is 125 years old and cracks & crevices are everywhere. Pinpointing the odor was very difficult. I put two of my odor control machines in place to help with the stench. After a few days the smell got real bad in one area and I made one more desperate search in an area that had been looked at a bunch of times. Up and under one of the pedicure chairs I found the little SOB. I almost puked.....I grabbed one of the girls THIN latex gloves and reached up and pulled him out. If you looked close you could see him/her right below the center of the seat in the horizontal area between the seat and the spa chair base. (right below the customers crotch!) Before I pulled him out I thought I'd get a glamor shot of him. Darned Iphone comes in handy....... The puddle of body fluids that I had to clean up was the worst of the job. Hard to describe that. This all happened February 13th, the day before one of their busiest days of the year.
