I copied this link from another site. It'll take you 30 seconds to send a nice short very to the point statement to those that matter. I give Ruger high marks for putting this together for all the lazy SOB's like me. Pass it on to ALL the gun owners you know (after you fill in the blanks!).............. http://www.ruger.com/micros/advocacy/

I only know of one guy that had one, The Son of Sam. He did some damage with a Bulldog, IIRC. He will rot in hell.

I went to the Newstead gun show today. No long lines, protesters or deals. If you gave me $100 to spend I couldn't. Honest Injun........

Ruger has thouroughly impressed me!!!

Sounds like you got a winner. Ruger makes great stuff although I've never had much of it. All I've ever had I still have! I bought a 10/22 International about 15 years ago and was given a Mark 1 .22 pistol about 5 years ago. The piston is never going to win any beauty contests but it is a shooter! Very accurate and never bobbles. The 10/22 is also very accurate with a Leupold 4x on board and reliable. I wouldn't mind scoring a model 77 rifle in left hand at some point. -
Chicken. I'll see if the doc can hook up my fancy new phone to the machine and then I'll pm them to you. I wouldn't want to scare the masses...........<grin>

Ohhhhh, I could go on for hours about this stuff. It'd be MUCH more fun in person though as facial expressions can help tell a story! I love this shiiiiit!

I just had a funny thought. True story too.............. I guess it was 1980 or maybe 81, I was working at a local service station and 20 years old. My buddy Rob, a big guy (6'4" 375 then) was working with me. It was probably 8:00 at night and we were getting ready to start cleaning the place up for the night. Our uniform was a one piece coverall, blue with a real fancy Exxon patch sewed on. Well, Rob says "I gotta go smoke one" and head to the can. 10 minutes later he comes back and says "I have a problem Larry, what should I do?" I said "what happened?" He says "I went to pull my coveralls back up and my tire pressure gauge fell into the bowl and harpooned a turd" I don't recall what he did but I assure you I was of no help! True story.

You guys & gals have had a real laugh at my expense. I don't think I've ever dolled out so many "likes" in a day. <grin>
-
Wow.....I had to read that real close. I'm thinking what the heck is he covering his shiits for?
-
Wrong.........the dude didn't want to sit on a pizzed on seat so he was doing the "chick thing" but he was hovering too high. <grin>

I just reread your story. It'd be a good thing to bring to the top again this coming September as a subtle little reminder.
-
Holy cow! That is nasty stuff, I hope you heal fast and right.
-
Thanks grow. That story will probably be embedded in my brain and come to light when I'm on the table.............<grin>

I had an upper GI probably 20 years ago. I remember drinking the barium while they had the x ray type machine over my chest and then I could watch, along with the Dr all the barium being moved down my throat into my stomach area. THAT was not cool to watch, IMO. At the time it showed the I had a hiatal hernia.

Master Finish Carpenter might be an understatement. Honestly..... AND he can do probably do anything he put his mind to. I would think that nothing would scare him. Google "finish carpenter" The top of the heap IMO. Some pics of work he did for me. As my old buddy Wally used to say and would say "he's no dumb bell"!! Let a guy like me run the hammer, let Dinsdale run the tape measure, saws, chisel & drill.

Sounds like a good thing to do all in one visit.......NOT. I'm on the schedule for next Friday. I had some issues last summer that weren't good. Survived it and got through the hunting season in good shape. Probably the fact I started on prescription omeprazole in late Sept. got things back on track and I've been feeling pretty good of late. Anybody ever done both tests the same trip? Uggh.......

Sure sounds bad, maybe worse that the flu........<grin>

One Hell of a skilled lowly carpenter! Don't make me post up pics............. <grin>

Your not a member? Do you know anything about SCI? $35 for what, to get your name in THEIR book? I'll measure it for $25 <grin>
-
No. Its a rich guy thing......... Google it. They have a records keeping system of their own. You know, Boone & Crockett, Pope & Young, Rowland Ward and SCI. SCI will measure ANYTHING!

Trying to scout when your hunting doesn't make tons of sense. Hunting season is for............HUNTING. This time of year and the spring is fantastic for learning the woods, hills, valleys and trails etc. of the deer. Take flagging tape (make sure you have permission) and mark spots you want to hang a stand or sit on a log. Trimming trees now isn't a bad idea. If you wait and try and scout in late summer or early fall you will have dickens of a time seeing anything because 1) it is way to green and thick with understory growth. and 2) when the leaves start to fly you can't see squat until the deer start to pack the trails down again. Now is a great time to be in the woods.

When my kids were younger I got many more colds and coughs. Flu shots weren't invented then.....<grin>
-
I can't resist........ What do deer have to do with it? Just go to Home Depot or Lowes, they have tons of sheds to choose from. <grin> Sorry.....

I bet you'll definitely have some competition. That cat has been out of the bag for years. (meaning anyplace you can't hunt) Right day/right time=win!
