My buck is the one on the left, hanging back a bit. The other buck ain't too shabby either. The third deer I can't identify.
-
Really odd that you don't get any bucks on your cams?? The bucks have to be there...... You say you enjoy the surprise when you kill one you've never seen? Well, you'd really get a kick out of killing one that you've seen on video or still pics. I've got a few that were NOT camera shy. Pretty cool. I've got video of the big 6pt that I killed this past fall. I'll see if I can load it up. The problem is it was a 30 second video and it is a pain to upload.

Any luck finding any components? You know, if you can't find exactly what you want, check out what powder is available and see if it will work (suggested loads in the bullet manuals) with you specific grain weight bullet. Same with primers.....
-
Sorry growalot, I missed that. I don't always follow your posts real close........ If I had all kinds of "free money" I'd be looking at getting a bit higher end camera that hopefully wouldn't be as aggravating as some of the lower end units. Sometimes (most of the time) you get what you pay for. I have a Bushnell something or other and it has been pretty good but not as good as my original Scoutguard. A great deal at Sears isn't going to help you if you need to by from Gander with your Gander Bucks!. Good luck and keep us posted.

How do you get things for free?
-
Howdy. What are your interests? Where are you from?
-
I thought about going but after you pony up the cash for fuel, tolls, coffee/lunch and admission, then you have to fight the crowds and chuckle at the ridiculous prices. Pass...........

The second pic with the camo gun looks like a Benelli. The first one is just 3" of barrel. I couldn't even guess other than saying....................Remington? Do I win? Or am I wrong on both? Oh yea.........nice shooting Mr. Shooter!

And soon to be professional reloader!

Yes, two intersections west of 63 + 20 but my phone calls it just "east" road. Horrible intersection, I always slow way down when approaching.
-
Welcome John! A friend of Pygmy's is a friend of mine! I'll be looking forward to your comments and input.

Right across the street (diagonally) is a little joint I have stopped at a few times. Decent sub and IIRC a NASCAR theme?? But heck, I owe you guys and my deal still stands, We don't need no stinkin' sub shop...... Yea fasteddie, I get the willys going through that intersection. Plenty of good people have died there.

I have a small business that I have owned for 28 years, res/com cleaning. Not janitorial, mostly carpet & upholstery cleaning these days but have done plenty of fire/water damage/sewer back up/trauma cleaning etc. Not much I haven't seen over the years, some good but mostly bad! Cleaned out houses and estates for years before it was the hot thing that it is today. I wish I would of saved half the crap I tossed years ago for EBay. You wouldn't believe what went to the landfill......... Before 1985 I was a mechanic at a couple local garages for about 7 years. Dream job? Work at the elephant house at the zoo doing circumcisions. I hear the pay ain't so good but the tips are huge.

I'm really very sorry for any inconvenience that I have caused you guys. Please forward me your email, paypal and SS# so I can get all your funds reimbursed as fast as I can. I promise to make this good. YOU GUYS ARE SAPS!! Don't do it!! Instead.......... I'll meet all of you at the corner of Rt 63 and Rt 20, (Texaco Town for all you old guys) I'll have your cash and I'll get a case of Genny Light & some Doritos. We'll hang out and tell stories. Bring your favorite gun and be prepared to have a good time! I owe you all..............

NOTE: When I said 4 hours of lost time, that included at least two hours yesterday and better than two hours of time this morning. I've yelled at my wife, drank a pot of coffee, ate a couple Tim Hortons TOO many and kicked the dog. Now I'm gonna go have a cigar and celebrate..........or maybe not!

OK. Which one of you bastards DIDN'T send the money? <GRIN> Here's the deal......I screwed up. I got an "official looking" email from a scammer and gave up my email information to them. They changed the language of choice to something that I didn't learn in school...... It looked possibly Arabic? They forwarded 30 hours of MY (sorry I will edit the bad words) EMAIL to themselves and sent that email out demanding money to spring me from jail or something. Obviously I didn't see the email, I only know what some of my contacts said when they called me. Well, after probably 4 hours of work trying to get things recovered it looks like I'm back in shape with my email. Soooo very frustrating and so much loss of sleep that you can't imagine. Besides all the great updates on issues here <grin>, I lost very valuable messages from customers. (and probably more F!#*$@ scammers) Sorry ....... Bottom line, BEWARE!
-
Well it looks like I'm in trouble. A week or so ago I got an email from a very legit looking sender. It appeard to be from my email provider, asking for some info. I'm normally not that gullible but this time they fooled me and I screwed up...... Two days ago I got a couple text messages saying that another email addy had been added to my account. That was at 4am. Well I spent quite a bit of time on the phone and Internet trying to get it fixed and it ain't happening. My inbox is being forwarded to the other addy and the language on the account that I can see is in Arabic I think. All my anti virus and other stuff is up to date. I'll be calling a computer repair guy I know in a bit. You can only imagine how pissed I am.......... (I'm doing this from my phone now as I'm afraid the bastards are going to grab all my passwords)

I never neck sized anything and a few guys I know that shoot WAY more and much better than me don't either. As long as you don't work the brass too much, just a bump, a FL die should be good. Like you mentioned, if Joseph is going to be loading for friends (I would strongly advise against this for a beginner) I think your going to have to use a FL die for sure.
-
I'm not saying you don't know what to do yet but this is a pretty good read that helped me (and I'm still learning after 20+ years) to figure out setting up the FL die........... http://blog.sinclairintl.com/2009/02/19/setting-up-a-full-length-sizing-die/ I've had it bookmarked for a few years. It may be a bit too deep for you now but it can't hurt to devour as much as you can!
-
That ain't slummin'!
-
You need a pin to knock out the spent primer while resizing. You don't want to over work your brass by running it through both dies. The neck only sizes the neck. (Amazing) The fl will do the entire piece of brass if set up that way. You really only want to bump the shoulder back a bit, per your chamber your loading for.
-
Yup......Happy Birthday Doc!
-
Figure it out? If the Lee dies are similar to the Redding/RCBS you should be able to unscrew the case mouth expander ball from the main section of the pin and replace the tip??
-
Sorry Joeseph but I'm just not familiar enough with the Lee dies. I'm sure one of the other guys can help out. My nurse just said lights out. Damned old folks homes.......(grin)
