It should say on the die, somewhere whether it is a ND or FL.
-
I can't tell from your pics, even if they were better quality. <grin> Did you get a 3 die set? If so, it would/should include a neck die (ND), full length (FL) die and a seating die. Both the ND & FL die have decapping pins on-board. If it is a two die set, does it have the ND or FL die?
-
I'm only familiar with RCBS & Redding dies and the pin comes out after you pull the top off the die.
-
HANG ON! You only use one or the other! Stick with the full length die. Hide the neck die........Pull the unbroken pin out of the neck die and put it in the FL die. You will need that to decap (de-prime) all your cases.

June 2nd isn't THAT early to be growing a rack. I've seen plenty while turkey hunting in mid May.
-
Are you using the neck die and the full length die on each case?
-
Lewiston or Youngstown?

A great idea, that's what they are. Get yourself some decent quality ones for when your reloading or shooting, Punk. <grin>

A couple tough 'ol buggers, you & Charlie. Now that I think of it, he DOES walk with a limp.................

You can do a bit with this...... http://www.amazon.co...r/dp/B0025VKMI2 I've had one for a few years and really like it. Although I also have one of these......... http://compare.ebay....mTypes&var=sbar Two different tools that work great. For survival, I guess I'd take the Husky.

"just a lot of brush between cornfields"? Holy cow that sounds like Lima, Rush, Mendon etc. CAN'T be any deer in that brush...........<grin> Only place to kill deer is the "big woods"...............>>>>------------> Just who is this Realtor? -
I thought that was Charles Bronson in that first picture!!

I have the Hooter Girl also. If you have the PE** ad it is only because they tracked you, somehow. Anybody else in your family an anti hunter? -

Old video but if you haven't seen it, hit the play button...... -
You boys are gonna' miss it if "they" take it away...... I have NO IDEA what happened to mine and how in the heck it got working again. Believe me, I need all the help I can get. I'm sooo damned excited............<grin>
-
I don't know what the heck happened but my SPELL CHECK is working again! Was I a good boy and the mods turned it back on or what? I will leave my disclaimer line in place for the time being. Antidisestablishmentarianism.................go ahead, check it. It is spelled correct!!

Don't sweat that. No deer walking is ever going to know your shooting at 'em with dented, chipped or even missing lead tips. IIRC, sometimes when shooting over a certain FPS the lead tip will just melt off before it hits the mark. I'm not sure if that is a bogus claim or not, some smarter guy will chime in and set that straight, I hope. Dinsdale, Pygmy, where are you guys when I need you!!

I just (a couple hours ago) had a couple slices from LaNova. Not too shabby! Pork for the traditional New Years dinner later.

It shows a concentricity gauge, made by Sinclair. It helps to show you how incredibly crooked your newly loaded rounds are! Don't sweat it, you don't need it and neither did I. I was just curious how my loaded rounds looked as far as how concentric they were. They weren't and I wrestle with it every day. It's just another dimension of reloading that makes it fun for me.

Too bad all guns don't come with that guarantee.

Fletch, are you nuts? One rifle to hunt the rest of your life? Good Lord Man......... If your going to do that, might as well get a David Miller or D'arcy Echols gun? Either one of them would be worthy of hunting 'till the end with!

Not surprisingly I agree with this! No fly's on almost any Remington semi auto. I have a 3.5" 12 ga Benelli that I bought when I was hunting geese quite a bit. I thought it'd be the cats azz for both the geese and spring gobblers. Well, it did work great for the big honkers and the turkey but I soon after quit hunting geese. Each year ts continues to hit the spring woods and collect a bird or two. Is the 3.5" needed? No, but I have the room in the chamber and my pockets so I stuff it accordingly. If I was doing it over, I'd stick with the 3" chambered.
