  1. If he’s suffering, it’s time to put him down.
  2. I have received and excepted an offer via PM to purchase said knife from a local member here but THANK YOU for the offer.
  3. I bought this skinning knife in December and it's blade is just a scooch too long for my liking, I'll NEVER use it. Oh, I can't return it because I skinned one doe with it. Great steel, great blade design and grade handle material, it just doesn't work for me. Probably the cheapest purchase mistake I'll ever make but nonetheless, a wasted purchase.
  4. Maybe someone close by can make a deal with you. Do you have much snow down there? We have 8" or so now??
  5. Maybe but it'd be the last noise any buck I was after would hear...............
  6. The back of these have the ice cleat for serious business.
  7. 36” Tubbs by LLBean. I had an old pair of Cabela’s rawhide/wood shoes that the rawhide dry rotted so I snagged these Tubbs. I swapped the Bob Maki bindings (priceless) to the Tubbs.
  8. Here's a read to get you started....... https://www.snowshoemag.com/2018/11/18/definitive-guide-how-to-choose-the-perfect-snowshoes-for-your-needs/
  9. HBNYB........... Plans for this fine snowy cold-ass day??????
  10. I knew I had at least two of the folding rules but only one has the sliding brass thingy......if I find another I’ll send it along. For others that may have never seen one, here’s one with the sliding brass and one without:
  11. Classic.........HOF material no doubt.
  12. Tonight I’ll check, I think I have a folder I can spare.
  13. No, the ring end tape is for measuring the circumference (mass). " P&Y Official Measuring Tape-Ring End. A specialty tape with an inset "zero mark" making it especially handy for taking circumference measurements." The "lip end" description from P&Y...."P&Y Official Measuring Tape - Lip End: A specialty 1/4 inch steel tape used for taking length measurements six feet in length. The folding ruler is for measuring inside spread only.......most (all?) have a sliding measure at the start of the ruler to get accurate inside measurements. A cable with a solid end, an alligator clip, pencil and blue tape do round out the kit of the serious shade tree measurer. Oh and couple beers too.
  14. Dude, you missed the Big Picture here........
  15. Next time, burn some film. Kodak will benefit. If I had my topper on, I'd never have gotten stuck..................
  16. Don't you dare say you don't have pictures...........
  17. Many years ago I'd see bucks in Amherst still lugging their antlers around in mid April........I'd joke that their new antlers would push the old ones off in May.
  18. I would love to run through Delta Sonic today but damnit to hell, it’ll be all crapped up in 24 hours.
  19. #16) Have your son hunt ducks on the Youth Waterfowl weekend (held on Columbus Day weekend) on Saturday. Come to find out (Saturday night) that the season was Sunday and Monday. My bad......farcking stupid situation. Cuff me mofo.........
