    I found a really good deal on a xbow on eBay, brand new but not assembled. Is it fairly simple to get setup or do I need professional help?

    We had so many things going for us, early nov, great cold weather, great wind for our setup and we saw 6 doe, no bucks tonight, complete opposite of yesterday.

    Son and I are out, we have near perfect wind!! We’re slightly split up so we can cover more ground in this small area. I climbed in the hut and can see a doe bedded not far away. Hopefully we have a night just like yesterday!!

    All while sitting on 3 acres!! Wind direction wasn’t great for us and we both sat in the blind to hide from the wind. Tomorrow will split up, I have 3 stands to choose from all within eye sight of each other so we should increase our odds a little!

    Well we ended up seeing I think 6 different bucks. My sons size requirements have been pretty high but when a 6pt (8 if he had brows) came almost in range he was getting antsy! Earlier a 10pt appeared about 50yrds out, I’m not sure if he was bedded or what but he headed the opposite way and a soon was chasing 2 does.

    Son and I are out back tonight!! Already have 2 buck sightings an 8 and a 10pt, very close! Make that 3 bucks now

    Great buck congrats Brian!! I’m thinking a buck scoring party with you and Larry @Lawdwaz asap!! Maybe a beer per inch of horn measured!!

    We had a small 8pt cruise by the outside edge of the plot around 8:50, by sons buck standards are diminishing as he was all about trying to get me committed our way, no dice. We’re bailing soon to setup another stand.

    We ended up seeing just 2 doe. We’re going back to that spot in the am. I’m guessing those two aren’t going far.

    Hopefully this was the right call, I didn’t think both of us on a knee next to a pole pine was gonna be to successful. Maybe we should have just stuck it out but I didn’t want him to bust us either. Tough call to leave that action but hopefully it pays off.

    Son and I are setup, on way in we came across one of the biggest bucks I’ve see on our land. Looked like he was stuck with a doe and 2-3 other bucks were crushing around the. We had good wind so we backed out and re entered from another location, we have great wind we just need them to head our way!

    I would say it’s mostly the same. My general guidelines for my area are Nov 1st thru Nov 15th. In my experience it can be fantastic the first half of those dates or the ladder half.

    Sat in one of my favorite spots for the first time tonight. After walking past 5 scrapes I route to the stand I ended up seeing 1 spike:-(

    Awesome!! I watched them when I was really young!! Probably the first movie I saw with boobs!! Remember the part where they prank call asking for Mike Hunt. I did that yrs ago at a fireman’s banquet with a couple friends, couldn’t have been more than 16 at the time, they announced it over the loud speaker during dinner, we laughed so freaking hard!! Classic
