Ugh so close!! He got as close as about 30yrds, needed about 5 more. Got some good video with my phone. Good news is, he frequently visits this plot day and night!

Well the final 13u fall ball game is tomorrow (game12). Son has done pretty well for the jump to the bigger fields. Right now he’s 5 in batting avg, 2 best ops and highest qab! All in all he played over 50 games this yr. Not to shabby I’d say. Excited it’s ending so he can hunt more on the weekends. He doing cross country but thankfully that’s all during the week and ends Nov 3rd. He’ll be 100% free once the rut starts to take shape!!

Thank you for saying that. I’m not alone!! I feel like this whole thing is so over blown. It’s like the weather man issuing winter storm warnings for 6 inches of snow.

Yeah both options are attractive but really the cell option with live data is so much more of an advantage then pulling cards from one cam one a week. Getting camera feeds all week really helps determining where I’m going sat morning vs pulling the cam after my sat morning hunt. Agin I’m way behind on this but think I’ll have to get this going for next yr.

Thanks for the feedback. It’s a pretty cool concept to have them all feed to one location plus I think you can have them sent to your phone. I can get deep into locations just one time and it’s gonna payoff pic after pic with no intrusion. I know I’m behind the 8 ball on this but having them sent to your phone really is a game changer. Now I’m reactionary. I pull my two cams and review pics of what already happened where cams can give you real time and you can adjust what your doing before the hunt. With my son now bow hunting I think I’ll have to make the jump and implement a better approach! Thanks again

Phade, how many cuddebacks are you running on your property together and over how many acres? I have thought about investing in this option as our property runs almost 100 acres and it’s a lot of farting around to check multiple cams and disturbing a big chunk of the property to check them. That’s why to this point I only run 2 cams but really like the idea of transferring each cams pics to one camera and it gives me the opportunity to hang cams in areas I’d love to but don’t want to disturb with checking all the time. It would be awesome to check from the driveway on my way to the stand. I’m also worried about range as the property is 99% wooded and has some big elevation changes from one end to the other.

Ever try the battery heated socks? My son had a baseball game and it was a bit chilly out and one parent had a heated vest. It was a dandy and I’m getting one a try one for later in the season. Usually my feet are the first to get cold.

I had a pair or Rocky boots (cornstalkers) I think, had them for yrs and years. Last few pairs of Rocky’s have stunk. I tried some English setters from field and stream and they stink to. I love my lacrosse rubber boots but sometimes I want a light pair of boots.

Some of my ladders don’t have the safety bar that comes down. So basically what I’ve done is run 2 2x4’s one on each side of me and then tie them together with a cross 2x4. Then I run a brace up from the tree to the end of the 2x4s to hold it in place. I posted pics on here in a similar thread, I’ll see if I can dig them up.
