    Hunting back yard with my son tonight. He told me all about the huge buck he saw this am. Much bigger than any of my 4 mounts he said. Also said he was rubbing a pine tree, hopefully I get a look at em!!

    3 turkeys was all I saw at first stand. Warmed up in truck now in stand 2 for a bit. On the edge of bedding and a new laneway.

    Ha, yep light snow started here about 45 min ago, it's picking up here now too.

    My son went to his stand behind our house and said he saw a huge buck in the neighbors field, said it had double drop tines and was a monster.

    I'm loosing my mind lately, hopefully it gets better, made it all the way to stand, passed 3 scrapes on the way I. And jumped deer in 2 diff spots. Half way up stand I said to myself shit I forgot my release, grrrr.... I hope it gets better from here.

    Kinda sounds like me, sat over new plot yesterday am, saw nothing, heading to my oak bench stand this am, my best stand and first sit in her!

    Ok I'm going solo in the am!!! I love having my son come with me but definitely makes things a little tougher. I'm going to my favorite stand that hasn't been used since last yr, this big block of woods I've only hunted one time this yr so it's almost virgin ground!! It's a spot I picked out soon after my dad bought the place yrs ago and has been a pretty solid spot, my bro shot his nice 8pt out off it. Congrats to all today and good luck in the am!

    Yeah so annoying. We had a new neighbor on one of my cams, looks like him and a friend took a long walk around. After a conversation I haven't seen em since.

    Son was cold and bored by 8:45 so we headed out, saw a small buck on way out. Done for the day. GL all

    Ok we're in, saw a nice buck on the edge of the road and state land, big body. Heard one line gobble a min ago

    Son and I are headed down to the land this am. Will be sitting opposite ends of the new food plot, let's hope there is lots of action this am! Gl all

    Guy got a really big one out of the Hanson's gravel pit near me on #6 road 5-7 yrs ago, I forget what it scored but I believe it was well over 150. Sadly the guy who harvested the buck committed suicide a yr or two later, sad.

    Son and I are heading out behind the house till around 5, then off to a football banquet. Saw a small buck cross 5&20 on my way home, he was headed right onto the Dec lawn!

    Yrs ago hunting in Mendon where I grew up, I planned on a all day hunt in a certain spot surrounded by bedding cover + I had a scrape the size of a car good all tore up near the stand, long story short I got cold around mid day and decided to head out for soup and a sandwich and get back in. I passed that scrape on my way out and hadn't been touched up, on way back to stand it was all tore up. Dang it!!

    Background is the biggest challenge I think, I'm 6'5 265, I have to focus on cover around me and I can't recall the last time I was picked up while in stand. Here's a pic of my son in a stand. Once the leaves come down it won't matter as behind that is pine trees for a backdrop.
