this i totally get. there's only a few times where i need the full size and i'm thankful for it, but i do generally like the ease of driving the smaller trucks. This big ass thing has cameras and sensor and all that shit but it's still a bear in a crowded lot. Where you live I would go ranger or colorado too.

It was mostly highway, best 50 mile stretch i got was 25.6 mpg. Normal commute to work, you're right there's no way. But that's still with a loaded bed, the wife, 3 kids and a dog. liberal tree hugger tears in fact the newest silverado replaced AFM (8 to 4) with DFM, which can actually run on as little as 1 cylinder. https://media.chevrolet.com/media/us/en/chevrolet/news.detail.html/content/Pages/news/us/en/2018/may/0518--silverado-dfm.html

idk about that. it's nice if you're also towing a climber, or stand setup equipment like pole saws. I think honestly the biggest benefit is just throwing the bloody thing in there and then hosing it out (or in my case driving through a car wash with my tonneau cover open). Not having to worry about a mess or ticks inside your ride shouldn't be understated. And yeah you can get a trailer hitch too, but there are cons to those as well.

hate to bust your balls, but I was average almost 24 in my v8 full size silverado. I appreciate not needing a full size, but the gas savings were just never substantial enough for me to lose out on the extra towing and storage.

looks like stormy is back in full swing. incoherent ramblings, spelling and all. This time he throws in his lack of understanding of basic human rights and our constitution. good grief charlie brown

I don't know how many times I need to say this to you, but she can say what she wants in public as well. Again, while I don't support how she is going about her message, her desire for equality is a message more people want to hear than don't.

carplay is a fabulous thing indeed.

yeah you're definitely right. it's just an insecticide and no, i wouldn't use the fruit tree spray (shit smells like straight gas) on my veggies. I'm wondering if perhaps there's just enough of the chemical mixed with the water to help wash away the mildew and that conditions improved in parallel.

I dont believe she ever said that all men are predators. I'm not sure a man has any say in who can or cant be a role model for young girls. She's vocal and a little obnoxious, but honestly sometimes that's what it seems to take to get your message out there. Which is essentially, you can be you. Dont be afraid to come out and don't worry what others think about you. all that said, I dont support the anti-american sh!t, but I do support her right to do it.

It’s basically at the end. He releases and then they show a preview of a bloody arrow and leave us hanging of course. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I don’t believe it is, but there is another YouTube video of him where he kind of tells his story and a meateater podcast interview that are free. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

i'm pretty sure turkeys still fly. so any high fenced turkey isn't a whole lot different than a well managed piece of land with suitable roosting and food habitat. You still need to get them into <40. Now stocking them, like a penned in pheasant release farm is a different story. -
that's the last episode i saw, not sure if there is a new one out, but they left it with a preview of him finding the bloody arrow.

that is absolutely why. doesn't change the fact that it's still the most popular sport. As previously discussed, players get paid based on the revenue they bring in. MLS gets next to squat compared to premiere league. Same goes for hockey vs nba etc. gender has nothing to do with it.
-
here's a fun fact. everyone is different and soccer may be boring to you, but is the most watched sport in the world. I happen to think that nascar and just about all golf except the masters is boring. I have nothing against them. They're just not for me. this board is prime example of how that model works. the more members and views and clicks, the more money in John's pocket. watch what you want. support what you like.

I imagine you're wrong about age. It's more about priorities and who you are as a person. If you're the kind of person with a small penis and feel the need to impress others then a high fence hunt is for you. Those that don't have the money for high fence and still want big bucks will generally resort to poaching. If you're the kind of person who enjoys the challenge (and the time that comes with it), and you enjoy nature and the woods, then there's no reason to go high fence. Regardless of age. And time is a poor excuse. It's priorities that matter. I have a demanding full time job and 3 kids. I coach 2 baseball teams and football. I'm fortunate enough that i could afford a high fence hunt, but that's not what it's about for me. But I do make the time and I do bitch and moan when the alarm goes off and I really need the sleep. But that's what's what makes life fun. We're all different. -

interestingly enough this comes from the discussion where they were attacked by a brown bear. But i think not just the danger part of hunting is important here, but just the unknown. see below. sure it's not just a point and shoot, but you also know exactly what deer are there and the guides put you in the right spots. point being, even with a bunch of trail cams on my property i still get surprised and dont know just who and what might show up that day, and that's not just deer. seeing a fisher was the highlight of my season last year. -
for some reason i thought it also had some fungicide in it. i might be thinking of my fruit tree spray. regardless i've seen my white powdery leaves get better on my squash after using it. maybe just a coincidence.
-
i usually do a single application of seven. i'm not sure that helps with mildew but i have seen the yucky stuff disappear lol.
-
I should get some new pics. tons of beans, lettuce and spinach now. squash and cucumbers have flowered and started producing, but nothing harvestable and peppers are steady growing

there was a good discussion on the meateater podcast that i feel fits well here. 3 things draw most of us to hunting and if you took any of them away, we may not hunt at all. 1. excitement 2. food 3. the element of surprise/danger. Not knowing what's going to happen in the woods that day. For #3, this is where we separate some hunters from others. Some want to be guaranteed success, an opportunity etc. It's not everyone's thing and that's fine, but that's where high fence hunting and stocked small pond fishing resides. If you call me up and say you got a pond loaded with trout i'll try it once, but i probably wont be back. #3 just isn't there for me and would diminish my interest in doing it again. This is of course, to each their own. -

Perfectly put. Need less hunter vs hunter. If you don’t like it, you can keep your comments to yourself. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Love this state this time of year. We too enjoyed some loons and fishing last week up north of old forge.
