is there a cheapish mouth call one can get that doesn't require the $100+ of the electronic call? One that is worth it anyhow. Maybe just to mess around on a weekend morning?
-
if that's porn for you, you'd blush at what most guys actually watch. lol.

There's a new record holder? what did i miss?

Tucker, 26, first spotted the buck on Nov. 5, opening day of muzzleloader season, but his muzzleloader misfired. He got a second chance two days later when the deer walked out into a field 40 yards away. This time his rife fired and the deer dropped. HOLY SH!T!? Could you imagine blowing it the first time? I'd hang myself on the spot.

the million was a hypothetical "would you sell the actual rack" number. Just pulling it out of my butt. I bet the majority wouldn't turn that offer down, but I bet you'd be surprised by those who would. I want to be clear that I wasn't downplaying the money or what I would do, but I do think it's an interesting question. Not everyone wants the fame that comes with the fortune. And what I'm gathering, is that if he really wants to capitalize to the full extent, he needs to do appearances, go on tv shows, tell his story etc. Not everyone is about that. My guess is that the stereotypical hunter is even less about that than lets say a world record snow boarder would be. this is my point. Not everyone is willing or wanting to do that. this will be interpreted wrong, but 1 million isn't exactly life changing for everyone. Lets say you get 4 weeks vacation a year. Would you burn that all to go make more money? Because you can't quit your job off 1MM, I know I can't. When would you hunt? I think the replica thing is a no brainier for almost all of us. So is a few magazine articles. But how much would you really be willing to take that "second job"?
-
Congrats! Looks like a big dog from the pic. did you get a weight?

this is for paula and the guys who like jiggly boobs

interesting sub topic. I have no idea how much the rights to the replicas would net you, so at what price does the original need to be set at to make it worth it, and even at that price, who would sell it? I know I have a clock my MOL bought me with 4 famous bucks on it. They live on forever and I assume if you sell the rack you sell the rights. Anyhow, I do ok financially and I bet the responses to this would vary, but I don't think I could sell that buck for any amount of money unless I was at a point that I financially needed to. You can never get it back, it's original, unique and something I'd want my family to have. Even a million dollars I dont think would do it, but of course I'm also not in that position, so who knows. I know some guys here would probably sell it for a grand. to each their own. only because he let it i think. If you wanted nothing to do with the fame, I dont think you would ever feel much of the effects. we should ask phade. he threw out the 7 figure number. But I think the key to earning big money is the title "world record". That just means something.

she's the ideal size and body. perfection

would you admit it if you had an invasive species escape your business?

People hunt for many different reasons, and yes I would probably go that route as well, but it's worth pondering. Also depending on his job, he might not have time to do the travel and make appearances. May be a guy who doesn't like public speaking and attention. Maybe doesn't want to spend his free time on the road away from family. I suppose there's a level of what he commits to, and even just allowing the rack to be displayed and put on covers of magazines would be a minimum that wouldn't stress him too much. the level of hate and jealousy from the guy down the road is very different from that of the united states internet haha. He's now a target for anti's and every jealous hunter, look at the few even on this thread alone.

if I remember right there was a meateater podcast about them, and btw they're not to be confused with sitka deer but are pronounced "sicka". And there's a whole island/swamp area near maryland where they're coveted. I dont recall hearing anything about them tasting bad. I think there was a bad smell or something but it was like boar where not all of them had it. Anyhow, yeah they aren't native and their pop blew up but they're sort of land locked at this area. I've always been a little jeaslous of western hunters having multiple species of hoofed animals to hunt, but I sure wouldn't want to risk my whitetail for them. I also imagine a single or a few sika would be like hunting a white rhino. good luck lol.

those pics of him at the press conference make me think what I would do in his position. Do I attend some shows, maybe make a few bucks off the fame and also deal with the extra crap and hate/jealousy that comes with that, or do I just enjoy my trophy sitting over the fireplace. idk...

that gif is most definitely natural. the fake ones dont bounce or squish like that.

i've had a few different brands of snow camo and this midway jacket and bibs combo can be found at certain times of the year for like $50 each. It's water and wind resistant and warm. A lot better than the cotton Walls stuff I have and also better insulated and better quality than that cheap stuff dicks sells https://www.midwayusa.com/product/608892/midwayusa-mens-hunters-creek-parka

in all seriousness, there are some members (not you) who I would start a pot for, and I'm sure the feeling from some of them is the same

you can occasionally come back and post a test message on a thread called "deleted" though. The kindle needs this or it'd self destruct.

haven't you seen his old school martial arts videos? Give him a break, he finally learned how to post utube links.

i should be clear that i am not an active user of illegal drugs, just a proponent of legalizing it for recreational use. I've said my peace and you've said yours. I hope I live 35 more years too. -
you guys tan yourself? isn't that a giant pain?

that is not true at all. the drugs you mentioned, plus alcohol all have to be processed. marijuana does not. It's very similar to tobacco, coffee or even vegetables that require zero human interaction to feel their affects. Yes abuse can be bad, and no just because it grows in the ground does not make it good for you. I merely mention that point because I struggle with regulating a flower that grows in the ground and i'm anti big government. Now if I want to setup a meth lab or a cocaine processing lab (the amount of cacao leaf is insane btw) then that's a different story isn't it? and fwiw, you growing up in the sixties doesn't mean shit to me. It could mean you haven't read any new informational studies on drugs and you're stuck in your ways and basing your opinions on the way things used to be. Which, btw was a long time before our current opioid crisis. And the refer that's out there today is not the refer you or I had as kids. that's for damn sure haha. As a parent of 3 young boys, I can promise you I'm much more concerned about pills then I am about weed. I'm 35 for reference and when I grew up pills were not a big deal. They are now, and I have a narco cop friend that I can put you in touch with if you don't believe me.
