I’m surprised papsmear didn’t post the fake news story about the guy in penfield who shot his handicapped daughter and then himself. Turns out it was a coverup because he was in on it... lol

Cut it last weekend and it needs it again. I do a fall weed n feed because that’s actually the best time to do it, but sure isn’t helping with gas money haha.

There’s a few mods and pot stirrers like vjp I haven’t seen in a while either. i wonder who left because of life and who left because we bitch, rehash the same stuff, fight and of course the politics.

I’ve shot 2 in my life in my younger days. I’d argue there isn’t any major difference between them and a healthy early season 1.5. And that process to meat ratio isn’t worth it... but to each their own.

Why are you shooting at fawns?

Well it is what I thought it would be. No activity, but s pair of mating hawks that was pretty neat.

Sorry I was out of pocket. The story goes that the hunter was field dressing when the dog off a leash approached him. anyhow I think it’s important to note as well that an investigation doesn’t mean anything happened either. There was a lot of buzz on this so they “looked into it” which would include talking to hunters and others. The fact that they didn’t find anything doesn’t mean it didn’t happen either, but again. No news story and no follow up from the person making the claim. All the vet info and injury details would have been easy to verify and the news would be running with a story about a hunter on the loose who shot a dog and call this number blah, blah. in summary? Fake.

Second sit of the season for me. Too warm and jumped some on the way in. Not very hopeful, but some good turkey action lol

You can’t and won’t change those type of people’s minds. It’s like the anti-hunter. Don’t spend your time there, spend your time on the non-hunter. Keep them ON your side instead of trying to change and impossible mind.

Yeah that’s what people at work we’re saying and I’m looking outside like... why would I burn a day? I’ll save it for early November. If it was going to be a nice fall day I would have taken off, but still not great timing if I stuck something and had to fly out the next day

yep. a bunch of us were talking about it and his facebook page is down. he was in some sort of law enforcement too. not police or anything but a prison guard or working to be a trooper. but basically a civil servant.

i can't access the site at work, but their facebook page has a daily blog regarding calls and incidents. check it out, you're probably right but they seem to post basic stuff like "call came in regarding theft at target". no real details or charges. Seems this one would easily fit the bill.

yes the one where my own physical abilities are the limits and the one containing the potential energy. Not the one where my 5 year old can release the power with a flick of finger.

what's so confusing here? Again, nobody here is throwing a rally to keep crossbows out of archery season. It's just an opinion that many of us share. If anything, this is inclusive.

the webster police post all their crimes and investigations and this never made the list... i'm happy that she may have followed up the way that she did but it still doesn't smell right.
