if you don't care, why'd you start a thread asking about it? lol. Also, great attitude to have towards your fellow hunters. there we have it. And you might want to look into "wealth". Where I come from, we don't measure it by the number of "quads" in our garage, but the size of our 401k. It's not hard to be hood rich my friend.

It's like listening to liberals. It's hard to hunt with a crossbow if that makes their point, but easier if that helps make their point.
-
You continue to crack me up. "I heard it's hard so I don't even want to try" how old are you? Life is hard, the harder you work the more you get out of it. It's that simple.

All I read was "I'm bad at hunting, make it easier please"

2 or 3 years ago during bow I was in a stand that's pretty deep into the woods. Sun had set but I had just seen a few dos and wanted to make sure I didn't bust the stand. About 5 minutes into actual dark I was ready to go when a slaughtering of something took place about 50' over the knob. Sounded like 30 yotes but was probably just a few. Finally got the nerve to climb down 20 minutes later and caught some eyes with my headlamp. Quickly Walked with the knife open for quite a bit of the hike back.

Dumbest thing I've ever seen. If I'm going to display anything that looks like a gun, it's going to be a gun. But I don't believe in open carry, so you'll never see me display.

You have WEEKS to fill a freezer with your gun. Archery was about a challenge, not about meat harvest. Why can't some people understand that?
-
There's plenty of stands with rails. I know I sure as heck use it with my gun.

Have had more than one dive bomb me in my favorite pine tree stand.

I could see that though. It's why toy guns require orange tips.

Where's the line with that logic? Muzzleloaders? Just one big "run what ya brung" season?
-
Why isn't he in the woods now? Remembering my stance on the elderly and disabled.

Even if I hunt here every year? And as of today maybe I am?

I have a right to complain if I want. It's access that is our problem and beating around that bush is a waste of typing.

Couldn't disagree more. My family will eat 3 deer easy, my dad is down to my mom and him. All they need is one. So he should just drop a doe early and be done? And I understand there's an argument for donation, but where I hunt it's a whole day affair to pull a deer out of the woods. I don't kill what I won't eat. A hunter can hunt for what he wants, and should not be made to feel bad because he has a tag and didn't use it.

A hunter shouldn't be punished or criticized for not shooting doe, or if he shoots a small buck etc. as long as it's legal. Like many bow hunters I will harvest a doe or 2 during gun or muzzleloader. I prefer not to disrupt my stands or shoot a doe in warmer weather or the expense of a broken carbon arrow and an expensive rage head. A dead doe is a dead doe irregardless of the season she's harvested in.Opening day gun 2015

Coincidently a few more northern counties introduced them. Could be there's a shred of hope our legislators look to facts in the future? -

Most deaths I believe are falls. -
Great news! As far as the first few episodes of naked and afraid, it's no coincidence that they're pairing people willing to get freaky with homosexuals. I don't mind it, but just hope the show doesn't get too much away from what made it so popular in the first place.

Nail in the coffin. Crossbow hunter wants to kill every deer and turkey in the woods. Clown.

You've jumped the shark buddy. Not only are compounds easier to use than crossbows, but now scent control isn't a concern. I literally laughed out loud and my wife just gave me a weird look. Playing the wind works fine, you will kill deer. Even if you're contracting cancer in the stand, but good scent control IMPROVES your odds. Gun hunter, scent control doesn't matter wants to use a crossbow guy here in the flesh folks. Made my point for me.
