  1. I can relate, last week I drove off with my 4 year olds brand new V-tech tablet on my roof loosing it for good in the process. Luckily grandma saved the day and bought a replacement.
  2. Genious idea, lets start a seed company for Whitetails where we sell all the popular spices to grow for deer to eat and pre-marinate for the table. Love it!
  3. If you want to go anywhere with this or any sportsman group I suggest doing things for the community in the form of charity work. The biggest mistake by crossbow supporters is not doing anything positive beyond getting their end goal realized.
  4. Soon it will be a ghost poop thread, you know the kind that doesn't need to be wiped?
  5. Disgusting bastards!! Its time we wipe this thread clean.
  6. Try getting help for a child with special needs in that same district and watch how much you need to go through to even get an acknowledgement that there "might" be a need. We had to threaten lawyers to even get some one to listen to us and call every week. Absolutley insane. But we have a nice costly field and a sweet sign out side the school that looks like it cost a few thousand. And the reason its so hard to get help is that it cost's money, I bet I could get a new jersey for football in a heart beat.
  7. Not one time in my time being a manager anywhere I have I asked, "Play any sports in school" when interveiwing some one. Maybe its time for kids to learn how to BALANCE more school work and life.
  8. Oh thats it place the blame on the teachers Grow, parents should play the biggest roll in the childs work ethic not teachers. My son works his ass off being that he is on the Autistic spectrum with ADHD, and so do my wife and I and you know what he has showed major improvement thanks to two good teachers. We all work together and thats the way it should be, and he doesn't play sports.
  9. In my area I found it upseting that the budget for the multi million dollar astro turf field was approved so easily yet they have no air conditioning and it gets hotter then hell in school late in the year, perhaps we should worry less about sports and more about education. I'm all for more schooling, obviously a lot of kids need it.
  10. And stay away from mechanicals, one less thing to go wrong and more costly.
  11. I would stay with a cheap light weight broad head (75-80grn) and find a suitable arrow that works. It will kill deer just as dead as any other arrow/broadhead when aimed well. Maybe a Thunderhead or Muzzy 3 blade and a cheap arrow.
  12. It jsut goes to show that ANY one can kill a deer these days..lol
  13. Oh Man I have been busy leaving "gifts" inside of every one of the models you wanted on the lot. There is going to be a lot of upset people come spring when things start to thaw.
  14. Elmer That must have been some raise you got! hehe When you coming up to buy the camper?
  15. Maybe because you cant very well still hunt in the dark, we do the same thing. Pluse we drive to our spots which requires me to wake up at 345-400am already, I aint getting up any earlier than that.
  16. I'm with you here, I eat a part of the deer the same day I get it every time, never had a tough peice yet.
  17. I guess if I carried an ugly gun like yours I would throw that at it to see if it was dead..hehe I only brought that up because there are so many new hunters on here lately.
  18. Thats is also a terrible idea, poking a potentially live animal with a loaded weapon is not the way to do it. Use a stick, throw a rock, anything but poke it with a gun barrel.
  19. I chuckle when I hear hunters become meat aging experts the second they kill one, not for me, as stated unless you have a controlled environment don't bother. If you do want to do it check into the temperature's needed and more importantly the temps you dont want and what happens if you aren't carefull. A day or two in a fridge is all you need.
