I would talk to them first, maybe they own a peice of land you might want to hunt. At the very least you will be able to tell them to keep out, they might not know you bought the land last year. Shouldn't be to hard to find where they are by following their trail. If all else fails I will help you rip it down.

Parcel 45, the county land, and another large chunk of state land off of Ballard is all in the Northern zone. There is also Carter's pond state land in Washington County, Elderidge Lane and Daketown, which is all state land, some in the NZ, some in the SZ and also a chunk over in Greenfield. If you look on the DEC web site you will find plenty of areas. The Albany Pine bush does hold some deer, it also gets hunted some what heavily but I manage to see deer on the odd occassion I hunt it. I work off of route 20 in Guilderland and see deer outside of work very often.

I have had deer fever before, didn't matter if it was a buck or doe in my early days things would get a bit fuzzy when a deer came in. I do recall having a doe come in once and my leg got shaking so bad I looked like Elvis in a tree stand.

I think you got a fever after poking at the poop and just so everyone knows I was there and I swear I saw him lick his fingers afterwards.

Rake the area in front of the cam to get tracks, looks like Beaver to me and they can get pretty big.

I drug one 1/2 mile down the side of train tracks Saturday solo, that was a treat. We did get a little help with one Friday, the farmer got the tractor for the last 150 yards for us and we were greatfull, the rest of the drag was brutal even with help.

haha I was wondering too, I have that same bag that I put in my pack or back pack. It has all the esentials, compass, matches, bandaids ect. I tried the old I forgot my knife trick saturday, my dad answered with the old I can't hear you trick..haha -touche old man

Cabela's sells them, maybe you can find one that is nicer looking than the old one too, might have been a blessing in disguise to have that ugly thing fall and break...hehe The rope came loose to shed its self of that ugly gun. lol Kidding of course, but really I saw them for @95 bucks for a black synthetic. You can find thumb hole stocks and I'm sure a pretty wood one if you look too.
