  1. I didn't realize I had to spoon feed advice to you for proof reading. I don't need to explain any thing to any one, they are my opinions as to what to use and that is what the OP asked for.
  2. Why because you didn't read the whole thread and wanted to start an arguement?
  3. No genious I recomended he stayed away from them because of the low poundage he is shooting.
  4. Now thats funny right there! lol
  5. I would put her at 110-115 dressed, good sized doe for sure. You don't need the tag to report the kill, just your backtag number. Congrats again, I'm sure I speak for a few of us when I say I am proud of you too, well done!

    Late Season

Yes you can use the buck tag for a doe in the late season, sweet deal if you don't have a doe permit in your area. This comes up every year.
  7. Nothing, if I want something I'll buy it. I did pimp out a ML I bought on here with a pink shoulder strap and a pink case for my wife, and my 9 yr old is getting a Bear Apprentice Compound that will last him till he is a teen.
  8. I had a simular occurance this year with near the same results, I recovered the bullet under the hide on mine. And I put a finisher in mine and that made a neat little hole. I used Wincester Bonded bullets in 150 grn from a .06.
  9. Might have hit a little something before hitting the deer perhaps causing it to expand before hitting the deer.
  10. 50 cal Lyman Deerstalker w/385 grn conical for me (no fancy inlines for me), look forward to it every year.
  11. Got this one around 10am while still hunting with the 870. Dropped right in her tracks as she ran.
  12. Nice, so then in another 33 it has paid for itself. All I know is I have spent a lot on ammo the last few months and if I can save money by reloading and get a new hobby out of it in the process I will.
  13. Man it must be in the air, I just thumped a 6 point with my car but not hard enough to do any damage to me or him. I was hard on the brakes and he was looking like a dog on hard wood floor and I just barely hit him in the hind end. Wow is all I can say. Lol
  14. Lately I have been quite a bit, I also shoot my bow a lot too. I lke shooting as do my wife and kids, fun family activity.
  15. And that has what to do with the NYCC or the winter news letter how?
  16. Belo I don't see calling something gay or dumb as any kind of debate and therefore I find it useless. This is the second time you have started crap and then ran for cover when the crap comes back on you. Grow up or stop posting useless crap.
  17. And thats why I don't feel bad about buying a gun once in a while, she out spends me all year and I try to catch back up in a couple guns here and there..lol
  18. I am fan of the nice wood stocks too, own two Browning's myself. A BAR Safari .06 and a A-Bolt Medallion 7mm, next for me is a BLR in something like a 308 or 7-08 and that one will stay iron sights.
  19. Not for nothing the NASP or National Archery in Schools Program is run on donations and does not get money from schools. http://www.dec.ny.gov/education/81939.html
