Correct. Stand up and use your back with a bow weight one can handle and there should be little/no difference.
-
What has that got to do with anything? Get over it - it is an event that effects almost no bowhunters - unless they are taking a youth.
-
Mine is over 1/2 inch longer.
-
Thanks - I guess. For a extremely limited and biased definition.

Has to be in the bible to be holy?
-
Offering dinner, courtesy fees, or any other such things is the same as buying - and illegal.
-
If legal, I'm shooting. It's only "holy" to those who feel that way.
-
It may make you feel better shooting a few coyotes, but you can't kill enough without serious trapping to make a difference.

What WNY said - above the spine.

Frozen Ocean is another good one. Couple huge clear cuts there a few years ago make for great bedding. Google sat zooms close. Also a couple lines where hardwood, pines and ponds meet. Good luck - great to see you back!

Go to http://tradtalk.com/forums/ Don't worry about aiming, groups etc when you first start. Start close - like 3 yards and learn good consistent form with a solid repeatable anchor point and a relaxed release. Deep hook on the string - in or past the 1st joint of your fingers. Back of the hand should be completely relaxed allowing the fingers to just quit holding. Solid bowarm - hold position until the arrow has hit the target. Some of the biggest obstacles to achieving accuracy are inconsistent draw/anchor, forced release, and dropping the bowarm. Get these solid and the path to accuracy will be greatly shortened.

Lucky - 3 misses could just as easily been 3 wounds. Figure out what is going on so it gets better and not worse.

If you think there is no tuning to a recurve setup, you still have a lot to learn.

Actually a 1.5 is = to an 8 year old boy. A 2.5 is = to the 13 year old. http://easycalculation.com/other/fun/Deer-years-to-Human-years.html You are not alone. More are seeing the value in education and lead by example.

The cat is a wear item - it's most efficient day is the 1st time you burn it. Because of emission standards, the non cats are every bit as good as the cats. And they are a far nicer fire to watch in the 1st 1/2 of the burn cycle as they are burning the gases in the firebox rather than a hidden chamber after passing thru the cat.

So no thoughts on the DEC proposals? A chance to be proactive rather than reactive.
-
Compliance would be 100% if you didn't get a new licence without reporting outcome of all past ones.
-
Instead of a Cornell poll based on a random small sampling (and we all know polls never are skewed), Why not have it be a mandatory questionnaire for all hunters getting their tags. No more made up claims of support/non support from biased sources.
-
It's an ad as jjb said. Quite possibly staged. Brilliant if it is cause it working.
-
Does anyone know of a report showing how many hunters fill 2 buck tags in any given year? I have the DEC reports that show overall rates(buck and doe) of 12% for reg, 14% for bow, and 6% for mz. Can't find the rate for filling 2 buck tags.
-
Anyone read it?

With that info, sorry isn't enough. Time to get officials involved to enforce the leash laws where are the bare minimum restriction required every where in NY. The neighbor has passively demonstrated he has no intent of correcting the issues just because you ask. Don't return the dogs next time - give them to animal control. Fines and costs will escalate with each new infraction. Good luck.
-
As reported by NYS Outdoor News. To me, the following (from the article) sums up all that is wrong with the proposal:
-
Need more info to have any opinion on next step. What did they say when you took them back? Have you or anyone else ever talked to them before? If so, what was their reaction/response?

Let her ride up front then - save the rug!
