Can Anyone Blow Up Pic's????
Four Season Whitetail's replied to Four Season Whitetail's's topic in Deer Hunting
Did you go over the hill and down to the river? Maybe we had already been down there before you. We also tried it Sat with no luck. River being low they can blitz across to the east side on each end. We had better luck going down the west side but hunting the east. 2 plus miles down from river road on east or 300 ft straight down on west, Then cross the river. Most times its easier to just cut them in half to get them back off east, Across river and up west bank. They carry much lighter in halves! -
By all means!!!! When and if....Im sure the site will go on if some cant buck it up!!!
-
If they have the computer to see and enjoy the site ten bucks should not be a issue. I need to buck up myself. I like the site because most of it is local stuff...At least in the areas i hunt. Love the pics also. Dont care how some go a little overboard on some things as im sure some dont agree with me but that comes with the public fourms! I have also met some great guys that hunt where i do and we share info with each other. Cant get much better!

Can Anyone Blow Up Pic's????

That is a nice place and one of the better spots to get over to the islands over on the east side. Another place they do some unreal stunts is down on the hogsback towards the dam overlook. I swear they have some kind of goat bred into those deer. They run those banks sideways and almost never miss a step. I have seen them come down with their front feet in front of them and sitting on their a$$ as they were comin down. This is the first time i have seen one fall but they were in a place no goat should even be! -

Joe thats what i was wishing someone on here that is not puter stupid like me could do. They are hard for me to see and i was there..lol. They did split up a bit in the pic with the branch but if you zoom in on that one spot you can see the form of the deer against the shale. -

In that pic blow yur pic up to 200% and look right below the bigger branch that has the crotch on the end of it and maybe an inch( on your screen) back from the crotch and just under the banch, About maybe 100ft up from the water. So i guess...Lower left of pic. This pic was before they made it to 3/4 of the way up in the other pic! If anyone knows the park...That wall is across from St Helena pic from west side over to east!! Unreal what they can do. One came down with all 4 legs splayed out sliding on its belly untill it went off the cliff and landed in the river upside down...Went all the way under water... Came back up and out on the bank and started to go back up again...Untill it say the others in the water and she jumped back in with them. It looks a long ways away but really i am on the west side bank and they are just across on the east. Dang cell phones... -

Ok...Here they are! I really hope you guys can do it. Yes there are 4 deer on that wall in the pic's about 3/4 of the way to the top of that shale wall. Then after the pics were taken they tried to go higher and they all feel off and tumbled into the river. I never felt so bad for an animal....They never cease to amaze me at what i see them do on that park!!!!!!! -

Cool....Do i text them to you or just post the pics on here. I have 2 different shots! -
I have a couple awesome pics of some deer on a shale wall i thought only a mountain goat could go. We were on the bottom doing a couple pushes on letchworth and 4 deer jumped in the river, Swam over to the east side and tried to make this climb. They all ended up tumbling down and falling in the river and swam down stream untill they could get out. I will post the pics from my phone if someone can blow them up and post for all to see....... I promise you that you will not believe where these deer went!

Cant let a couple that have a little finger power get to you. As i said in another thread. This is a great site for Ny hunters but a change or two would help. Such as is life... Cant agree with everyone!
-
I was going to say im sure a few of us on here could probably help out with a few great meals after you start feeling better after your operation but some have stepped up! Thats awesome!!!! Hope you get back in action fast!!!

I would have to say yes an..Amazing Amount...I believe there are to many Mods and some push a bit much. I am on a few sites and this one has the most and the most vocal. I know everyone has a right to speak and thats great but it seems sometimes it goes above the person talking! On a side note, This is one of the better sites that i am on and i will be a supporting Member soon.

How did you do this weekend?
Four Season Whitetail's replied to First-light's topic in Muzzleloaders
Did some walkin and watchin on the park sat. Not a bone seen but my buddy counted 16 does he saw. I saw 14 but 5 were some of the same he saw. Still good to see lots of flatheads at the end of the season. -
Funny this post came up! I saw a buck last night on the farm, Outside letchworth on the highbanks road and looked as though he just dropped his the last day of two! Would not shoot a big blockheaded doe even if i had his rack!!
-
Thats a tough one. I would try to move my stand away from the line a little if theres room and just leave him be. Maybe not right but some people ya just cant deal with. There are 2 sides to every story but if its that bad and one went his way after hit on mine... Well lets just say i like it when its dark!

Four Season Whitetail's replied to MACHINIST's topic in Deer Hunting
Bottom of letchwoth at the tip of wolf creek. Im sure there are a couple left down there somewhere!! -
Shorter split seasons, 1 buck tag per hunter per year, AR for area 6g! I know...That alot to ask for, So i guess im good!
-
I still hit the bottom even with the smoke pole so hunters are not a problem. There always seems to be hunters at trail 17(Perry Entrance) and a few up at castile entrance. Does not seem to be alot in the middle of the park!
-
Sunday was the last day up here so we are done but i will be down on the farm and letchworth with the knight this weekend.
-
I dont think to many guys are going to throw 300ft of rope over a bank and repel down with a flashlight in their mouth to go down into a gorge looking for a bow hanging in a tree between 7pm and 5am. Never see any life form with two legs in daylight hours so i think im safe!!
-
In my case i could probably leave it there for a month and nobody would see it but like i said, That would be the only place i would leave one!
-
When you are using 300ft of rope to get out of where you are leaving eveything in the tree except your headlight does help with the climb in the dark!
-
I did it 2 nights in a row this year on the bottom of letchworth. The last night frosted the switchback a bit. I never would do it anywhere other than there!
-
Oh im sure its a different world but the point we both have to deal with is everyone idea of fair chase could differ alot and both could be right!
